And you whining helps this how?
Not free content, because we paid $60 dollars for the content already, and a portion of the REQs went to the development of the “new” content (like anybody can call Assault, BTB, and Grifball “new”).
There are those who complain and then there are those who complain about the people complaining.

Sorry but I have payed 60 bucks for the game so I have the right to voice my criticism for this game.
And guess what, the DLC isn’t free. Microtransactions pays for this crap and without microtransaction…yeah you get point.
They complain about these maps but don’t even contribute to the forge community…They complain about getting smoked on fracture but don’t do anything different to get away from the mantis or open areas…I really think the forge community can keep this game thriving…The people who don’t like the maps should forge their own…and get more people to play so 343i has incentive to make more studio maps…or buy more reqs…Cause I love the game I think it needs more content and features though.

I paid money, I get a right to say I don’t like something. How hard is that for your nimrod brain to understand?
How can you possibly be satisfied with the bare bones content we got at launch, and these “free” updates are funded by idiots paying hundreds in reqs. Even then the content should have been in-game day one.

This. And Free? The +$2million paid on reqs tells a completely different story, seeing how that is what they claim pays for the updates.
We used to pay 60 dollars for a game then 20$ for 3 maps every dlc. Seriously guys stop whining. As for the guy saying I’m whining. Maybe so but its about you kids needing to quit the crap n be happy with what content your getting.
And if your not happy with what you’ve paid for the why are you playing at all?

Past games also didn’t have massive gaping holes where content should be, though. DLC was an after thought. I won’t enjoy “what we get for free” when it is cosmestic stuff and reused assets that we don’t need, whilst important features are still MIA.
I’ll whine as much as I want until we get what we need for the longevity of the game. I also may whine when we eventually get it, because waiting 5 months+ for a simple gametype like Infection, Race or King of the Hill is unacceptable. Even not being able to view medals after games is basic and still missing.
Either way, people complain. It has always been this way, especially on the Bungie forums. Why would it stop now because they pump out this “free content”?

Yet we have REQ sales which are effectively paying for lazy cosmetic stuff, reused assets and the occasional map instead of what people actually want. REQS have been selling like hot cakes, only a portion went to HCS and the prize pool was a million dollars. They have more than enough money to listen to fans and put out solid content.

Yes, but when we bought the game we expected a finished product. Not one that may be finished in 9 months. I didn’t pay to be part of a beta. If they wanted to sell the game for more they could have, but that doesn’t change the fact there was an expected level of content that hasn’t been met. I’m getting nothing for free and nothing that shouldn’t have been available on day one.
In addition, most of us have to work and budget in order to buy the game. So your bolding is kind of irrelevant.

If you show a little respect then maybe you’ll get some in return. The thing is this “free” dlc isn’t technicallly free, Its all stuff previous halo games had at launch. If halo 5 shipped fully completed and had free dlc that’d be great, I’d love that but it didn’t did it. we all payed £50/$60 for an incomplete game that is gradually getting its missing content added back over the course of 6 months, that may be worth it to you but not for everyone. They have a right to complain and you telling them not to will not acomplish anything!
Im happy with the content 343 is giving us. Also, stop calling people “kids”. Its extremelly childish.
343 has to make revenue to stay in business that’s why you have an option to pay for req’s. The players that have unlimited time to play don’t need to pay. Some people don’t have 24/7 to sit around and play games. Family, Work, etc. which as we all know puts them at a great disadvantage. They have the money to pay.
