Some of these things sounds sweet! Pretty much everything thing we’ve seen so far, at least in pictures, but the SAW looks pretty sweet. Not sure how it will fit in the sandbox yet.
Also, I want to get my hands on a railgun!
There is kind of a big thing on the front page with this video on it.
But yeah, love Most of the new sounds. I just hope they sound as good from a distance.
(Halo 3 and Reach had a really good atmosphere in games when you could just hear all the gunshots and explosions over the distance of the map. I hope these sound effects are as good at re-creating that mid-battle atmosphere).
Ahhh, I usually just jump straight to the forum, so that would explain a lot. I suppose this thread could be used to discuss stuff then.
No problem, I did the same thing. In fact, it was pretty difficult for me to find the non-Dubstep version of the video.
Not that I don’t like Dubstep, I just wanted to hear the guns. But yeah, back on topic. I like most of the new sounds. The only one I’m unsure of is the sniper, but I think it’s because that one is the most different, whereas all of the other gun sounds are different but similar to how they used to sound.
I think we’ll get used to it though, even the ones we aren’t too fond of.
Between 1:05 - 1:06 it appears that black armor is back.
