So my goal for this thread is to basically archive everything 343 did wrong with Halo Infinite (including stuff they have fixed). I’m probably gonna miss a ton of stuff so if people in the replies could mention some stuff that I missed that’d be great
Gameplay
-Desync is a huge issue
-Cheaters are very common and there’s no way to report them
-BTB has huge matchmaking issues and the hotfix for it didn’t work (Fixed)
-Challenges not relying on skill but luck like getting killjoys
-Fiesta being removed after the event and 343 not learning from this by removing the cyber gamemode (semi fixed, I think they are bringing it back now)
-Weekly awards are mostly just dull emblems
-Weapons like the pulse carbine and ravager are barely useable
-Skill does not impact rewards
-Gamemodes like infection, snipers are missing
-Iconic weapons like the shotgun have been replaced with worse remakes like the bulldog
-Commando recoil (fixed)
-Melee is inconsistent
-The radar is basically useless
-No way to disable crossplay
-No forge, custom games or firefight
Customization
-About 80% of Mark 7’s armor alone is behind a paywall
-Yoroi almost has no coating options that aren’t in the store
-Coatings are not universal
-Armor customization is not universal
-Many coatings look identical or are just one color like purple
-Armor is not unlockable through playing the game outside of the battle pass and events
-Mark 7 helmet was put on the battle pass because people liked it
-Only one attachment per helmet
-The attachment system is wonky and should just be that when you unlock an attachment, that attachment should work for (most) helmets
-Many of the mark 7 torso attachments are all grey blocks that don’t change color with the coatings
-The Jorge armor kit is missing a texture
-The cyber event visor isn’t centered
-The menus are all just one horizontal line, which makes it more annoying to look at armor the longer that line gets
-No way to really get a female body
Store
-Over 1000 bucks worth of store items
-2000 credits for one armor set
-700 credits for one helmet
–Reach armor that was free in 2 other games is now locked behind a paywall
-Not reducing the price on armor that was already in the store
-The Yoroi armor was removed from the event at first and was meant to go on the battle pass (fixed, it’s now back on the battle pass)
-Price reductions that were still too much
-Though not in the store, 343 added another purple coating for 20 bucks
Misc
-The UI takes very long to load
-The store sometimes doesn’t display right, the only way to get it to work is to restart the game
-The gamemode selection tab is messy and unorganized
-No offline campaign
