A little to late.

Do you guys think it will be to late by the time the csr comes out in April. I mean sure we might get the MLg settings in the new slayer pro and some competitive players will come back but I fear the csr coming out later will only make players just give up.

its too*

and im sure april will fly by dont sweat it.

It’s too late now, AND it’s Waypoint only even in April so not many people are even going to look at it.

It is FAR too late. 343i dropped the oddball on this game.

I loved the climb to 50. I was 48 in Swat…but now…worthless.

Thanks 343 for an amazing campaign…and thats all.

im a halo vet from the CE days. i wont be playing again until after the TU, assuming it is adequate which i highly doubt.

Yes, I do think it will be too late, especially if the csr is viewable by waypoint only…

People could use Halotracker.com if they cared about a ranking number… but no one is going to care enough to look at a website after each game to check. It’s not exciting. Until they relizee that visible ranks will draw more people to the game and put more money in their pockets, they won’t get it right.

April will be here before too long. Shouldn’t be a big deal.

No, I don’t think it’s too late. Then again, I could care less if it came out at all.

It is far to late considering that only about 15-20% of Halo 4’s original population still plays it. Also considering that many of these people playing currently just bought the game. I think that they might be able to bring back a small portion of the population but unless they are able to advertise this properly and make csr ranking visible in game Halo 4 will continue to sink in the xbox live activity charts.

You don’t know that, I actually find it better to be on Waypoint, so people wont brag about their silly little level next to their name because they think it makes them better than others. IMHO the skill based ranking system was and will always be meaningless. I am not a casual gamer either I am a competitive player. Not every competitive player is in favor for a ranking system or it being visible.

Yeah it sunk all the way from first to third.

Honestly, people are being over-dramatic about the population drop. We all knew that Halo wasn’t going to beat COD on the charts, and it’s damn impressive that Halo even got third coming out in November of 2012.

Halo’s ranking systems have meant quite a bit to alot of people, and not just for the bragging rights. VIGR gave players incentive to keep playing, something to work for in game, and to ultimately enjoy while making the online experience that much greater.
Sure at the end of the day you can play for the love of the game, but honestly what is left to love?

No it isn’t, A good Halo game would still have first. It is however impressive that a game that is worse than Reach can still hold a place in the top 5.

The game itself.

> The game itself.

Not much to love, nor to enjoy like previous Halo’s to a large extent. Random ordinances, A secondary weapon which is 1SK, Limited custom game settings, No ranks, A weak progression system, Awful starting spawns/respawns, and a lot of inconsistent weapons.

So any game not in first place is a bad game? What a stupid argument, you as well as everyone else knows that COD has the video game world gripped by the balls the only way it’s getting dethroned is when they screw themselves over.

Your statement is utterly ridiculous. Halo 4 may not be the best game, but it is a good game, regardless of your blind hate. Just because it doesn’t conform to your standards of what a Halo game “should” be doesn’t mean it isn’t a Halo game.

So with your logic if it isn’t first it sucks…
