A lie

Although i do appriciate them for the great work they put into Halo 4, i don’t appriciate them lying to us about how the CSR can’t be implementated into Halo 4 due to the UI supposedly being unchangable, but doesn’t adding more stances and armors require them to change the UI to be able display these new items correctly? They have just proven it themselves that the UI is editable and that they can possibly also edit it to show us our CSR.

PS: I’m might be wrong.

EDIT: It might also be possible that 343i found a workaround of somekind, if this is true, 343i i beg you, please add visible CSR, PRETTY PLEASE!

Didn’t they say a long time ago that adding new armours to the game was impossible due to “RAM limitations?”.

Well, I guess if they can charge MSP for it then it’s possible.

Maybe they knew they were going to be putting in DLC of this nature?

Some other guy on this forum put it pretty well- It’s like a reservation at a restaurant. Space isn’t filled yet, but it’s going to be.

Pretty sure that’s what we assumed.

They stated something similar before the game released in a bulletin.

Yup. I’m too lazy to look for a source but that was their response to someone who asked, “Will we ever see Armour DLC in Halo 4?”.

Well, it’s a pleasant surprise isn’t it?

They also said it was impossible to add new armor or skins to the game multiple times. I assumed the same went for Stances, but obviously that’s not true.

I suppose so.

If you can prove its a lie, please do.

> If you can prove its a lie, please do.

Honestly, I don’t care that much. If someone is willing to go through all the bulletins, please be my guest but I have better things to do. All I’m saying is that is what they said.

Now here is the problem.

No one can’t prove its a lie, but no one can prove its true either.

This is all merely speculation.

They never said that, they said that there was no more room on the disc to have any more armour at launch.

I guess that’s the end of the discussion then.

If anything they probably said no because they were unsure if it was going to work

Adding new armor/stances/skins doesn’t require altering the user interface, just copying new models into the mainmenu.map file.
