Some of you know me, most of you don’t.
…for those who don’t, I have been playing Halo since the beginning, I’ve enjoyed each and every single moment I have played. Halo has been great to me and so has this community.
When Bungie announced Halo: Reach I echoed my lone voice against the entire Bungie forum pointing out flaws and problems with the game prior to release and even beta. Only to be met with a backlash of hate from users.
Halo: Reach had it’s problems, It never felt like Halo to me and many others.
Halo 4 is making the same mistakes, and in some cases whole new ones.
It’s time for me to part ways with Halo. Many of my friends left Halo with Halo 3, I hung in through Halo: Reach with the hope that 343 would listen and make a better game.
So far it’s not looking good in my opinion.
So I am going to part ways with Halo. It’s just no longer the game I fell in love with many years ago. 343 you wanted to make a different game, I respect your bravery. It’s just not the game for me.
“Who care’s your not buying it?” - Well to be honest I don’t expect anyone to care. I would probably be scared if you did. All I want to say is “if the game seems to different to me then I am sure others will feel the same way.”
Let’s face it Halo 4 is a new breed of Halo. Some will adapt and others will leave. I have chosen to leave. So I bid you all farewell. And enjoy the future of Halo.

you’re*
Bye (not in a mean manner)
I’ve been playing since the start and love Reach. Strange…
OT: Goodbye, you’re always welcome back.
you will be sadly missed…
lol just kidding don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

You’re a rare sight: Someone who dislikes the new direction and is being polite in their thread.
I like that.
It’s a shame it has come to this but I bid you farewell.
Mritical BK, normally I would be very rude in saying bye, but, meh, I really don’t feel like being an -Yoink- too you.

That’s exactly what they’ve been describing it as since the announcement. 10 Year old gameplay is still floating around. The rest of us will move forward and continue to enjoy the franchise for what it is; not what we think it should be.
Polite or no, a fan stays with it unless it absolutely becomes unbearable. The only way that would happen here is if they drastically changed EVERYTHING.
Remember to turn out the lights…
Unlike many users here who will simply say: “See you, you won’t be missed”, I will say farewell to you in an honourable fashion. I have also enjoyed Halo for the past decade, starting when I was 5 ( yes, 5. I was a big green man shooting aliens ) and I have enjoyed Halo ever since.
I can understand many peoples delegations about Halo 4, but I myself have always enjoyed the evolution of of technology,be they fictional, or real. Either way, I will be looking forward to Halo 4,but it will be a shame to have another long-time fan leave.
Good luck in your endeavors.
If you don’t intend to purchase the game, at least rent it once all is said and done.
It still is Halo. Yes, an evolving, changing Halo. But Halo nonetheless.
I would, being in your place, at least give 343 a much deserved chance to impress.
I know I intend to.
bye for now bro
but you will be back…they always come back.
