Does anybody else think that Halo 4 lacks in playlists? Here are some PERMANENT playlists 343i should add and keep:
-Team Slayer Pro
-Classic Slayer
-Team Snipers
-MLG
-Action Sack
-Arena
thoughts?
Given the pathetic population counts I don’t think Halo 4 would be able to support more playlists, if anything the amount of playlists needs to be reduced.
MLG’s settings will likely make Slayer Pro redundant, if you want a gimmicky gametype there’s Infinity Slayer, if you’re after competitive settings there’s MLG.
Arena should never come back, it was a colossal failure on Bungie’s part along with most of what Reach brought to the table.
Since there is no effective strafing nor high aiming skillgap a classic playlist is pointless IMO. You cannot recreate a classic game in another game when said game contains far too many different things that cannot be changed.
I’m for 343i tweaking across the board but I don’t think splintering the community by having dozens of different gametypes in matchmaking is a good idea because people will get tired of bad connections due to low population counts.
There needs to be multiple gametypes per playlist.

This would condense playlists to nine, around what we have now (8) and would allow people to have some variety in what they play, which 343 seems to be afraid of.
Combine objective playlists (oddball, ctf, dominion, king of the hill) into one playlist.
Team slayer, btb, multi team, team objective, grifball, mlg, rumble pit, swat, snipers, pretty much just use classic playlists instead of giving every gametype it’s own list.
I heard of Binary Slayer but I’m not if it’s fun or not
