A good idea for how you could unlock main iconic armor in H6/MCC
to unlock the campaign players from each game I think it would be a good idler to use each game legendary achievement to unlock them (like in halo 4) using the latest’s version of each game achievement. (HWDE HMCC HSA HSS H5G HW2 HI) the base armor in 6 could be a updated MARK 8 version of the recruit and if you want unlock theses armours in H6 there would be a updated MARK 8 variant you could get from only playing the new game but if you want the 1 to 1 remakes of theses armor sets you would have to complete the game its from on legendary and get the achievement for it.

I’m not a fan of content being locked to playing other games. Any unlocks in Infinite should be obtainable within Infinite in my opinion.

I get it that it is a good way to give something extra to long lasting fans, but at the same time you punish the newcomers and people with multiple gamertags. Or worse, you force completionists to play stuff they don’t care about. I for once really don’t want to waste my time with mobile garbage… Hi is supposed to be a new beginning, let the past rest for a while!

You would still be able to get the armour listed in hi olone but they would be a different varason of the set for example the pattones could be reversed and it would get new players to go back and play the order titel and get them more in to the fransize. And people who have unlock the 1to1 set you will know they done hard work
As longtime players with the older games under our belts, it’s tempting and feels right to ask for exclusive in-game rewards for our loyalty. I personally think that it’s a trap we should avoid, though. It alienates new players, and a big infusion of fresh fans is something this series desperately needs.
Having classic armors locked behind campaign activity (maybe even cool Easter eggs that call back the games that armor debuted in) is a fun and cool idea, but I don’t believe it’s productive or fair to newer players to lock them behind actually having played the older games. I personally am more than happy to welcome new Halo fans into the fold with the same access to all in-game goodies that the rest of us will have in Infinite.
It would be cool to have some items earned through legacy games. But only a few at most.
Tbh I’d only accept a Mark VI from Halo 3 & a Veteran Emblem by having played the Classics on the 360 & a More vibrant one for beating them on Legendary
Some of these are good ideas, but the base armors shouldn’t be shut out from players because not owning other games. However, it would be nice for the “scarred” variants and maybe special painjobs for the other armors. I would love to see the Mark VI. mod from Halo 4 and 5 campaign be usable in multiplayer.
The infinite campaign as unlocks for it so the most modern past halo campaign might also have unlocks for infinite mp.
