So I keep getting a bug where my A.I keeps turning into Butler I have Fret set but no matter how many time I make sure I have Fret is set it keeps defaulting back to Butler. I even tried setting a different A.I by changing to The Super Intendent but it last for like one game and then go’s back to being Butler no matter who I have set it always go’s back to Butler

Yeah it’s been a bug ever since the first technical preview, I can only hope it’s fixed in the near future
On a side note an option to randomize AIs per-match would be cool.

ok, this really needs to get fixed its starting to really Piss me off Buttler my as well be my permanent A.I at this point because I can’t set anyone else I even bought Mister Chief which is now a waste of money because I can’t even use him I keep reverting back to Buttler it is getting super ridiculous please for the love of god fix this bug already. I tried so hard to be nice about it in my original post but now it is just starting to make me angry.

i noticed it just yesterday. i think switching playlist or to customs breaks it. Whenever I play with friends in matchmaking I have my selected AI and SPARTAN chatter voice. In customs it gives me BUTLR and I hear everyone else’s SPARTAN chatter except for mine even though I have it turned off by default.

In custom game for example the ctf mode the Cobra team will grab the Eagles flag and come back to the Cobra Base and wont cap it 
all they do is run around their base and not cap the flag. The A.I. as you can see does not work all the great!

Having the same issue with voiceprints resetting every day, in addition of my [J641] clan tag going blank every day as well, it is very annoying to have to reset female character’s voice to a female character voice every single day, and having to retype your clan tag everyday as well, 343 can you please fix this?

Yup I have Lumu as she’s my favourite, some matches it’ll just have Butler, it’s been like that since the Flights and it’s pretty annoying

I encountered this bug recently as well. I started up a LSS match and was surprised to hear BUTLR as my AI instead of LUMU. It has only happened three times so far in LSS, but after the matches were over LUMU comes back. I haven’t had to re-select her from the Customize menu or anything, it seems to be a random bug every once in a while.
this constantly happens to me, and it goes back to the default male voice as well. incredibly annoying.

Okay, to clarify something:
When I boot up fresh on my Xbox One the game takes a stupid long time to load. Regardless, I can jump into a game. But if I do start playing before the menus properly load than all of my customization settings (including AI and voice print) revert to default setting that is comprised of an all black Mk7 with BTLR. Then, after I finish that game and return to the now loaded menus, my customization all returns to my saved settings.
Is this the problem you’re experiencing? Or is it that your AI resets to BTLR and doesn’t change again until you change it?
And then finally, have you submit a support ticket for the bug?

Its a feature to make you remember where you started.
I have the exact same problem. I keep selecting a female voice and ingame i sometimes have a male voice. Drives me crazy

Exactly same issue here. I have Circ selected etc. but it is BUTLR whenever I enter the game. Frustrating to say the least especially since I hate vo of this AI.
Yup, still happening 1 year later, 1 out of 5 games reverts to BUTLER. Particularly upsetting for those who bought the 10$ AI from the store.
It seems i just gave $10 to Microsoft charity, because i haven’t even gotten to use the Mister Chief A.I. i just bought, instead hearing Butlr, who i am very over hearing the voice of.
Try selecting BUTLR and then select Mister Chief, that seem to fix it for a while.
I sent a bug report and they said there’s no workaround for now.
The unprofessionalism of this company is mind-blowing, they sell us stuff that literally does not work and they seem to be in no hurry to fix it.
