This is exactly what a large portion of the fanbase has been asking for, is the return to the iconic halo visuals, the AMAZING music (at least what we heard)
They even brought back master chief’s old armor, I never could’ve imagined this happening. I’m so excited for this game. I’m mind blown they decided to go back to the old artstyle even though they were already two games deep with it.
I hated Halo 4, and tolerated Halo 5 (i mean i enjoyed it, but it wasn’t like impressing to me.) However, Halo infinite is a huge throw back to everything we loved about the old Halo’s from what we saw, I can only hope the full game is like the trailer.
Those forerunner buildings looked perfect, everything was a throwback to halo 1-3
What you saw is most likely nothing what the finished product will look like. They were showcasing the slipspace engine while at the same time saying MS is working on new hardware. The release date wasnt even hinted at. BUT! We got lots of rhinos and deer running wild and stuff…

I don’t mean to bash your opinion, but halo 4/5 were the most hated/controversial halo games ever.
HOWEVER, blue team was awesome, I loved all their armors, just not chiefs

I’m actually the other way around regarding blue team. chief was fine though not as good as the old armor in my opinion but blue team felt off for me. fred was fine, I felt like kelly could’ve been a little better, and linda is just a train wreck.
To me, chiefs H4-H5 armor was way cooler than the H2-H3 set. I mean, I’m glad they’re going back to the old style but I wish they had left his armor the way they had it. It was the one thing they changed that I thought they absolutely nailed. But whateva. The older set is cool too. I just hope this game launches within my -Yoinking!- lifetime. I can’t play H5 for another 2 years. I simply cannot do it.

Outdated? More like iconic… But every man to himself
It will be interesting how they put the classic art style back in Halo. Will they just change it or try to find an excuse to use the old equipment for Canon.
