I have four separate groups magnetized to a large group. Keep in mind that I set up five total different groups.
The four sub groups are set to always rotate. The large group is static. However, with the magnetization, when I leave Forge and reload it (Because there’s no “New Round” button.), it groups the sub groups in with the large group! Why would it do this without my input? This then forces me to remake the sub groups because they’re all messed up from ungrouping them. I want my five separate groups, -Yoink!-!
Are you trying to apply transformations to your subgroups- while they’re parented and moving based on the movement of your parent group? Not sure if that’s possible.
it would be easier to solve if you described what your trying to accomplish
Woah this thread got necro’d. Anyways…
I would have some objects/groups sitting near a large group. They wouldn’t be connected in any way. I would save the map, leave, and reenter, and everything would be grouped up, transferring the scripting from the little groups to the large one. I got around it by just NOT grouping what would be the large group. Meant that I had to select everything by hand everytime I wanted to change it, but at least it doesn’t assimilate everything else.
Forge is fairly glitchy atm. You just have to find your own methods I guess, like you have.

Yeah. Now that I’ve conquered that issue, another one has surfaced! Damn things won’t accept two movement scripts at the same time, I guess.
I have some glitches too. Am i right and there is no the way to return delete object, group?
