A HUGE Halo analogy! (a good fun read - I hope)

I was bored and wrote this Halo analogy to describe the current situation that the Halo fans and franchise is in. Read in to as little or as much of it as you want. But its really not intended to be read or taken too seriously… honestly. It helps if you’ve played Halo 2 and 3. And I hope you enjoy it anyway.

For several years, the Elites were sworn followers to the Prophets. They existed in unison with Grunts and Drones among other races. And their faith was strong, perhaps even stronger than the Brutes. However all was soon to change.

First came the Heretics. “Our Prophets are false! Open your eyes, my brothers! The Great Journey is a-” But they were quickly silenced.

After the Prophets lost the Halo ring to the Demon and the UNSC however, the Great Schism arrived. And the Elites were betrayed.

An Arbiter tried to consolidate the Brutes. “There are things about Halo even the Hierarchs do not understand.” “Tartarus, the Prophets have betrayed us.” But they would not listen. “No, Arbiter! The Great Journey has begun. And the Brutes, not the Elites, shall be the Prophets’ escort!”

And so… the Elites fought with the Brutes, as High Charity became increasingly threatened and consumed by the Flood, until they finally decided to join sides with the UNSC and Hummanity and journey together with them towards the Ark.

So… what do you guys think of it?
