a handy dandy guide to Readying Up for HALO 4

heres the scenario, you are gonna spend all day playing the biggest FPS of 2012 (HALO 4) and you want as much day as possible, let me guide you through how to Ready Up quickly

if your the lore kind of person, catch up on your HALO lore between HALO 3 and 4, and watch Forward Unto Dawn

.if you have a friend who works at your local game store, they might give you it early

. if you are at school or work and your shift/school day ended, get home as quickly as possible!

.hang up your posters and door signs

.redeem ALL your bonus codes for it if you have any and install the disks onto the HDD (in-game and via dashboard for better gameplay and to play MP)

. pack up as many snacks as you need if your Marathon’ing it (especially if your marathon’ing it through November 5th-6th for the presidential campaign day-off you lucky dog!)

.going to a launch event? be at the event atleast 30 minutes BEFORE the event starts (and grab any swag as soon as you see it and meet ANY 343i staff you see there, why not try getting their autograph all over your HALO merch and play some HALO with them if you can) and have a good time there

.check how much time off you might have during November 5th-11th 2012, if it is a full week, you have plenty of time in your hands

.try fake-sicking it (I wouldn’t recommend it though)

there you go, a handy guide to getting the best of a good November 6, happy HALO Day everybody

not handy at all, just basic common sense and a person with a 10iq could create this guide and halo 4 isn’t the biggest FPS of 2012, sadly this title still belongs to the CoD series.

my advice is simple, get the game and enjoy it.

My guide to readying up for Halo 4:

Buy the game, sit back, have a few drinks and enjoy it.

not cool dude, just not cool

woah man! CoD has no right of that title if it is basically £40 for what seems like a pretty big map pack to have exploits and complaints about weapon balancement issues and said exploits on Day 1, the issue would be likely for any new CoD game these days, then IW/T/Act have a problem on their hands, but i appreciate them reaching out to VITA this time, so there’s a plus that says that they are not discriminating the VITA even though it has the power to run a real game at a worthwhile price

look around you, look on the various gaming videos on youtube, everyone is starting to hate CoD because of Activision’s recent actions towards the series, i mean £40 for basic stat tracking and any other feature the competition offers up included with the price of THEIR game, id pick the competition, but seriously,

face it, because of recent titles in the series and various stores jacking up the prices for even the standard edition of it (£44 for BO2 console version, seriously?!) and recent actions from the publisher and developers, BO2’s likely flop could end up killing off what is left of the series, no one complains alot about the HALO series,

im not trying to put you down because you like HALO aswell as CoD, but look at the issues that happened throughout the series since CoD 4, they wont even fix the hackers in CoD 4/W@W which is just sad on their part, and they don’t even have a disclaimer saying the game may be virtually broken or hacked to pieces or a perma price drop on virtually broken games,

and lets not forget the attempted lawsuits over the map packs dropping half price which made CoD Elite the more expensive and less valued option since they would be paying for cod elite just for early and (what were) cheaper maps

and lets not forget IGN’s controversial favouritism over CoD (look at their review for HALO CEA (jittery frame-rates, seriously! thats because of the game running a second graphics engine for the 2 modes and it does look as good as other shooters and stop judging it based on it’s age you favoristic piece of -Blam!- of a reviewer!) (i was referring to the guy who done the review, not you)

but yeah, think a bit on these issues and how it could affect CoD’s future if BO2 flops since alot of people see BO2 as the last breath of hope for the series, but with that new gun that literally shoots through solid wall without a aimbot, it looks to be a bad flop for BO2 unless it is either nerfed so it can only go through certain walls (be material or specific point of thickness of the wall) or not in MP at all
