I believe something like that is already in the works. I hope it turns out good I think theres a lot of potential.

i wonder if it will be somekind of kids show where spartans are depicted as superheroes rather than supersoldiers to make it more appealing for younger audience so they would get to games and expecting it to be cartoony as well like it already seems to be turning to.
just a bit of rant of the path they are taking with the franchise, take an example from H5g intro over-the-top action cutscene.

I don’t think they would try and depict Spartans any differently. My son was 4 when H3 came out, and he was instantly infatuated with it all. Now he’s 13, and changing what is their tried and true formula would alienate wayyyyy more people than just 30-something guys like me. They would essentially alienate anyone who’s ever played the franchise and liked it.
That being said, this is 343…God only knows what could happen.
Glad it’s happening. I think a television show is a better storytelling medium than a film, which would be great for Halo.

well, im hoping the best and fearing the worst. Unfortunately that might be the only thing regular player can do.
and yes, it would alienate many other people than the old fans by age, it could infact alienate many long-time fans but they seem to be trying to reach a wider audience by trying to implement popular parts of the culture that is favored by younger audience. This means trying to gain new fans to the older brand by changing the Formula to appeal better to the wider audience by the cost of alienating the faithful core-audience. And this is again the fearing the worst part but there still is the hoping the best part.

well that is the hoping of the best but if we get philosophical, then it means nothing can truly be likeable for every living Person. But optimally, that could be the case. But i see what you mean there and i just keep hoping for the best scenario possible.
