As we know Halo 4 will take place inside a world called Requiem .This Shield world is of Forerunner origin and holds a Ancient enemy . What about the object Chief has become very familiar with though ? A Halo ring .A ring has been in every one of Chiefs Halo games and after all is the name of the franchise its self .I am really looking forward to Halo 4 but I will find it weird if A ring is not in Halo 4 .Now I am asking the question do you think a Halo ring will be in Halo 4 ?

Part of me wonders why John would need to visit one of the rings, which I expect he will do in the course of the Campaign. Maybe just over halfway through, Faber realises how much of a symbol John is for the UNSC and tells Bornstellar-Didact, who is under his control for whatever reason (I’m gonna say Faber assumes control of the Forerunners in Requiem, and/or he’s holding the Librarian hostage), to capture him and dump him on one of the rings. Thematically, I think this would be a great way for John as a man to pay the price for being such a hero and icon. John could then fight through the Forerunner ship and force it to land on one of the rings before Bornstellar-Didact explains himself.
That said, it’s likely that Installation 07, or any of the other rings, would be swarming with Flood. But we know we aren’t going to be fighting them in Halo 4. How’s about teaming up with Bornstellar-Didact to mow down a [should have been censored]ton of rogue Covenant? And maybe some of Faber’s own Forerunners (I was about to say men XD)?
After that, John and/or Cortana could propose that the Infinity help attack Faber and his forces to free the Librarian. This could lead to the scene discussed on Conan and the introduction of the Spartan-IVs into Campaign.
If Installation 07 is to appear in the trilogy, it shouldn’t be until later in the story. If any ring was to be in the game, it would most likely be Installation 03 because it is the only ring besides 04, and 05 that the UNSC has discovered.
I think Halo 4 should focus more on the new and interesting stuff first, let us explore Requiem a bit. A Halo ring can come later, in Halo 5 and/or 6.
