Enjoying the game so far, thank you for letting us play a sample of Halo Infinite! Here are the bugs (PC) I have encountered on Saturday, July 31st.
Rebinding Campaign Menu / Scoreboard Keybind Crashes Game
At some point I realized my Scoreboard Keybind [TAB] was no longer working. I went into my settings and saw that the Campaign Menu / Scoreboard wasn’t bound to anything. I tried rebinding to [TAB] again but it instantly crashes my game (sends me to my desktop). I tried to change the keybind three times and all three instances were crashes.
Joining Mid-game muffles certain in-game sounds
Every time I joined a match midgame, I get muffled in game sounds like grenades, shots, and weapon sound effects from other players. I hear Announcers just fine and in fact, grunt noises are especially louder than usual when this happens. My weapon sound effects are fine but everyone else’s are muffle, like they are shooting “underwater”.
Flashbang
This has only happened to me twice throughout my tens of matches today and I don’t see an relation as to what caused them. A grenade exploded which caused a flashbang effect on my screen for like a 1-2 seconds. Second occurrence was getting melee’d by a bot with a plasma pulse rifle.
Armor Coating says “Favorite” instead of "Equip"
I went into Customization to change my armor coating to something else but sometimes I can’t equip it and I get a “favorite” option instead. And no, I did not have that armor coating already on, I checked. It happens every once in a while. Solution for me is to re-enter the customization menus a few times to get it to work.
Those are my new findings for today. Other smaller bugs were already addressed in the Known Issues segment on the Halo Insider Support page.
P.S. I assume I provide this feedback on here. Do I need to file a ticket or are those just reserved for people who need actual technical help?
