Damn a pretty comprehensive video. Judging by the current pace things are going I don’t think a lot of the points mentioned will be fixed by launch, but maybe one day.

This video needs more attention. Just the visual improvements that are home made in Custom Edition but lacking in a 2020 release of the most influential FPS game are much needed.

There been many threads on the forums dating as far as Dec about all this. And no response what so ever from 343 if when it will ever be fixed. Its why I just say one day. Cause who knows how long or how many years till they fix it. From the looks of it they just want to port all the halo games to pc and once they do then work on bug fixes and so on. by the looks of the patchs. My guess is for every release of each title of each game that there will be a major update for the other titles. What happens after each game release? My guess is more bugs to fix more issues along the way for each title. This whole fixing part for Halo CE im sure wil take time. And seeing that it appears to not be any modder’s still active presently for Halo CE since what 2 years ago? If im wrong someone do please correct me on that part in regards of CE modders that may be trying to fix other issues of CE graphically issues. And about the sound part god I really wish Halo CE sounded good as it did on Windows XP since then it never did sound good even when creative tied so hard to make EAX work on vista and so on. It just never sounded the same. It was a poor attempt from creative to try.

Well CE hasn’t released yet so there is still time for them to fix these problems before they release it. I’m guessing by this Friday we’ll get another update on the status of the game, though some people might not be happy if CE is delayed to fix these problems, so I guess it’s a matter of should CE be delayed to fix these bugs or release sooner and fix the problems later.

You’re lucky day, they have put in (an incomplete btw) setting for OG legacy sounds. They are still missing some sounds but this is just ring one.

ce flighting was already delayed by a month, they can’t afford to lose more time
