I noticed that in the gameplay trailer there was a Halo at 0:07. Master Chief looks to be in space with Phantoms flying about. Now this really cool because a couple of months ago, there was a gameplay video that had a main menu with what looks to be a Halo and a severally damaged planet (possibly Requiem?) in the background. So i assume that Requiem is housing a spare Halo? Seems to be the case going off what we know.
Also to note that in Spartan Ops, the Storm Covenant are still looking for a secret weapon on Requiem. If they already found Halo, what else could be hidden on the shield world? Mountable Moas? A Precursor? BS Angel? Or something entirely out of this world…

It’s not Installation 07. 07 is completely covered in clouds, not dissimilar to Venus.

I’m not sure which Halo it can be but remember that on each ring is a flood sample the Forerunners used to research.
Maybe this is how the flood might come back?

Also, the info on I07 is from halo 3, 5 years before halo 4, things could have changed.
Anyway, I think it will be I03 as it is the halo that Halsey is taken to at the end of glasslands.

Its Cloud Cover was mentioned in Halo Primordium. The Environmental controls failed to go back to normal. It is considered the most mysterious Halo Ring by ONI because they cannot see the surface.
Chances are this is Installation 03 which was mentioned as having an ONI facility, Ivanoff Station, in orbit of it.

Requiem is in a metal shell that’s floating in space. That planet looks rocky.
Also, according to Primordium, Installation 07 was in permanent cloud cover since it was recovered by the Didact. I’m assuming here, but its likely Primordium, or rather the sections with ONI interviewing Chakas, is set after Halo 4.

There are signs to point towards after Halo 4, especially Chakas’ “We face the Didact again” line.

Reach had a Halo in it. You played on it constantly in Forge World, Beaver Creek, Tempest, Timberlands, and Installation 04. Installation 04 was also seen once you reached the credits, where CE first begins (sort of).
I believe it was Halo Wars and ODST that did not have a Halo involved. Wars revolved around a couple of planets and a flood infested shield world, ODST took place exclusively on Earth.
Back on topic: This new ring could possibly be Installation 03 then?
