A Halo game can be fast paced without sprint

I’m not against or for sprint, I could honestly care less if it’s in the game or not. Sprint is going to stay in Halo 5? So be it, but I’ve thought of a way of making a Halo game fast-paced without the need for sprint. If you saw the new ‘Doom’ gameplay, you’d see that the player moves very swiftly even tough there’s no sprinting. What if a future Halo game had the base player movement increased (basically like Doom), so players moved fast by default? What do you guys think?

Anyone that has played Halo CE can tell you halo doesn’t need sprint to be fast paced.

I’ve played halo 3 customs with an insane movement speed. It was fun. ( More fun than Doom)

I’ve seen that gameplay, it didn’t seem fast to me. It seemed like an old, slow, game with a new coat of paint pretending to be modern. The better example would’ve been Unreal tournament, fast (actually fast not “kinda fast but still faster than a lot of games fast”) without sprint.

Well Doom hasn’t come out yet, I think the newest Doom game looks fantastic.

Yeah, but nothing beats Halo.

Uhh yea… opinion… and to add to it without the modders there would technically be no forge

Pretty sure he’s talking old Doom, like 1-3.

No Im talking about the Doom reboot

Having played the first three Halo games on MCC at 60 fps, it’s a wonder COD has been called ‘fast’ all these years…

I wish threads like this would just stop. It’s getting really annoying.

Halo 1 feels incredibly slow to me, so… this is awkward…

Get out of here with your subjective opinions! * Waves fist*

125 base speed in customs feels great!
