What do you guys think? with 343i’s less than stellar track record with the series so far (no disrespect, just the truth) and lots of controversy amongst fans about the direction of the series, I think the franchise would greatly benefit from another Halo fps being made alongside the numbered games, and these games could have different art styles, have campaigns that tell stories from the lore (there are so many to tell) would be an opportunity to give us a next-gen classic gameplay game without some of the less popular abilities and give it a chance to innovate in its own way, and it could really be a nice breath of fresh air for the franchise.
I know people will probably argue “no way it will split the community” and whatnot but really the community is already split, there are just thousands upon thousands of us that have no halo game to play and that’s why you all see the complaining that you do on these forums and all the other ones
At this point I see no reason not to have another studio like Certain affinity take a swing at a Halo FPS
Discuss!!!..rationally please, if you love Halo 5 then i’m seriously pumped for you but try not to just be dismissive, the more people playing Halo the better IMO and by going through another dev it wouldn’t derail 343’s series in the least
I personally don’t like the idea.
I think a franchise such as Halo, as big as Halo is, should be kept to one studio.
It would be like Mario being made by other studios other than Nintendo, it would just be weird.

A franchise such as Halo deserves fresh new experiences more often than every few years though
I would love a long rpg styled cooperative campaign. I can imagine a more open world type experience akin to what we have in Destiny or Borderlands but with the awesome world of Halo driving the story.

It might as well be its own series if it changes that much though and if this is what Halo fans want, then said Halo fans will become (game name) fans instead.
I welcome the opportunity to get new and more Halo games. I mean it may be good and if it isn’t then at least they have tried and we know it wont work.

If we were to do that halo would risk going down the same path as COD, Assassins Creed, etc…, where a game releasing every year results in franchise fatigue.
A new FPS halo game releasing every 3 years makes each release much more of an event, and in between we have games like Halo Wars 2 to satisfy our interest in the franchise.
Dear god, please. 343 is slowly draining this series with every new game they put out. Either 343 gets some MAJOR management changes or a new studio comes in. At this point this seems like the only way Halo can be successful.

I think it is kinda suffering from franchise fatigue regardless since the 343 games are just not very well received, and I think it would be pretty great to be getting a new halo game as the halo 5 content stream dies down and 343 starts to work on 6, even better if they release close to each other and we have 2 games to jump between, maybe they could make them work together in that REQ points made in one game can be used in the other or something! lotsa possibilities and just more people playing HALO
