Not a grammar error, but a point. I don’t ridicule anyone over their grammar, only joke around it at worst.
That’s where I’m leaving it.

Not all of them. I’d use an example, but I can’t think of one.
You’re not wrong, they surely won’t forfeit cosmetic income to retain long term fans. I think that may hurt them in the long run, but I do think you’re right that it won’t change.
That said, I’m gonna insist on being dragged, kicking and screaming, into a world where Halo has cat ears and whatnot. It’s just so massively disappointing, I’ve never loved a universe as much as Halo, and this stuff cheapens it IMO.
What im not liking is the fact we are getting more armor effects than actual armor in the store like in reach armor effects were cool because you didn’t see them to often but honestly their kinda everywhere now kinda ruin the rarity of seeing them they should’ve been only obtainable threw events like a last reward only
You would not believe that the game franchise that has silly grunts that talk about food nippls would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise with Sgt. Johnson and and Elite hugging and touching butts as the ring explodes would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise that rewards headshots on grunts with confetti and the cheer of children would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise that has fire helmets would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise that has built in physics for tebagging would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that this game franchise that has lighting, gas, fire, hearts, and confetti come out of kills in multiplayer would not have a Halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise with gokart mini games would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise with a peeing brute would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise where you can get killed by a traffic cone would have a Hal Armor effect.
You would not believe that the game franchise with grifball and zombies would have a halo armor effect?
You would not believe that the game franchise with a golf club weapon would have a halo armor effect?
Online or offline, Halo has always been equally badass and dumb.
That’s only part true. The dumbness is usually retained to either the multiplayer or the skulls. If you play an un-modded halo campaign then it’s about as serious as you want.
I know what you mean. The way I see it, skulls are part of the game so it’s fair to include them in a list of things that have made this franchise silly. Even without skulls, the grunts alone add silliness into every encounter they are in, except in halo 4. And multiplayer is half the game so the dumb fun moments in it adds a good bit too.
Not counting Infinite, this franchise is close to 50/50 with the silly and cool when looking everything it offers. Though I agree that on the campaign side you can avoid most of the dumb things, if you wanted.
*Halo reach. The catalyst of halos downfall for changing art style, lore, and gameplay. Not the best source of inspiration if you ask me.
All of which were done in a unique, tongue in cheek manner that had no connection to the already established in game world and/or were successfully integrated into it. It’s obviously just a quick cash grab on 343’s half, you can’t even earn most of these in the battlepass…
This can be directly translated into objective reasoning. Games have set art styles and going against said art style can negatively impact a players experience. Pretty simple imo
Thank you. Explained perfectly. Hopefully these two will finally understand
I want grenade belts not cat ears.
So if you’re arguing from an art style perspective, then tell me how it objectively doesn’t coexist within the rules established by the art style parameters.
Example:
Hayabusa’s design may not make sense canonically or rationally, but the armor conforms to design rules within the art style like uniform nondescript rivets, overlapping and sleek metal work, subtle engrained lighting.
Halo 4’s greebled noisy over engineered Master Chief doesn’t fit within Halo 3’s more simple bravado stylistic art style, even with the lighting blending it in it still sticks out as “different” as it doesn’t follow the rules that other characters, backgrounds, and designs are following.

Another example of art style rules is when LucasArts put Max from the Sam and Max franchise into Jedi Knight. Jedi Knight went for a “realistic” approach (as seen by the characters to the left and middle) but Max has his traditional cartoon look which doesn’t fit the aesthetic rules of the art style.

Aaaand wrong. Halo 3 grunt birthday party absolutely had confetti exploding from enemies’ heads with children cheering as you shot them. Try again.
Not sure why you used the word “unique” in here. Game modifying easter eggs weren’t unique in their implementation, cutscenes based on difficulty weren’t unique in their implementation, the crossover event wasn’t unique in its implementation, VFX cosmetics weren’t unique in their implementation…
Are you saying that Halo Infinite’s cosmetics aren’t as tongue-in-cheek as older Halo games?
Since we’re talking about perfect circle, here’s the description: “Don’t let the power go to your head.”
Tongue in cheek, yeah?
Uhh what? Johnson, an established character in the in-game world, tells an elite to hold him and lets the elite grab his butt.
If by “successfully integrated” you mean there was an in-lore justification for Ryu Hyabusa’s armor to appear on a spartan, then I guess the perfect circle has been successfully integrated since it’s manufacturer is listed as “Lethbridge Industrial.” That’s the same level of integration that the hyabusa armor had.
Reminder that the Hyabusa armor was a marketing crossover that Bungie implemented on behalf of Dead or Alive. Oopsie daisy.
Except the part where he was literally wrong. Definitely explained perfectly.
Good thing you can equip grenade belts and not equip cat ears.
I don’t want it for myself. I don’t want to see the cat ears at all. Meaning no one has them. Same thing for the Mohawk etc. It’s an fps. Meaning everything your looking at is everyone else. Not you
I don’t want to see grenade belts. Sorry, you can’t have the grenade belts that you want.
Sounds like you don’t want Halo. Why aren’t you playing Fortnite then?
I’ve never seen someone miss a point so spectacularly. I don’t care about grenade belts. I was using your terrible argument against you. If the best argument that you can have is “I don’t want to see it, therefor it should not exist,” then anyone can use the same subjective argument.
Also, sounds like you don’t want Halo because Halo Infinite has cat ears. Ergo, if you don’t want cat ears, you don’t want Halo.
Poor arugument. Halo has never had cat ears. So you can call Halo infinite non Halo by your own definition.

I never said it was Porrage ![]()
Poor argument.
Then Halo 3 was non-halo because Halo CE/2 didn’t have Ryu Hayabusa’s armor or a katana.
