A Halo club/dance song I made.

So back in 2004 there was a contest called something along the lines of Halo Soundoff Mash-Up contest, in which participants submitted a mashup of Halo’s original soundtrack songs and mix them with another song. At the time only Halo:CE and Halo 2’s soundtracks existed. I decided to go in a whole other direction and created a song from the ground up using the game’s sound effects from Halo’s plasma pistol and plasma rifle, along with the famous “guitar riff” and also with Halo’s multi-player announcer Jeff Steitzer from Halo 2. Some of the sayings include secret Easter egg sayings that most people have never ever heard of from performing meticulous task in a Halo 2 multi-player match.

Please check out You-tube video. And just a reminder this was made in 2004 so please do not critique too harsh lol Thanks.

Very cool! Some of the rhythms seemed to be a little off from the rest of the song but I really dig it! Have you made more OP?

Thanks for the compliment!

I know some of the rhythms are off at certain points. Back when I made this in 2004 I was using a PC that was running Windows 98 and the program I was using was just a free trail of Cool Edit 2000 and my PC could barely run that smooth enough. I had to manually align each track into place to fit them as closely as possible into rhythm. This took me hours upon hours of fail and repeat attempts until I was happy with the result you listened too.

To answer the second question I have not made anymore. With my PC I have today and all the music programs, digital DJ kits and, professional sound editors out there I could probably whip something together in no time. I enjoy doing this like this in my spare time. Maybe I’ll tinker with it this summer.

Thanks again and, cya on the battlefield Spartan!

Have you tried something called MuLab? Also, here is a lazy link.
