What are the chances of a Halo animated series that is set after Halo Wars 2? And, could we see Ellen Anders and James Cutter coming back in the Halo animated series? Do you see that happened?

I think it depends on what direction Halo: Infinite goes, and whether the Spirit of Fire crew is included or not.
Since its been awhile since there has been a Halo animated series as well, I would almost expect a Halo Wars 3 before an animated series. But again, it’s dependent on Infinite.

I doubt there will be a Halo Wars 3, unfortunately I don’t think HW2 got the reception it deserved. It was definitely a fantastic game for sure and the campaign was absolutely amazing! The multiplayer was fantastic too. I’d love to see a new animated series as well, it definitely won’t be Blurr studios though that does it as they’re just slightly expensive lol. I hope Halo Wars and the main Halo games become the same as that would make for some freaking epic campaigns to come!

I think the reception Halo Wars 2 got was accurate. It was a clear downgrade from Halo Wars 1, included a “pay to win” microtransaction mode, and had quite a few completely game crashing bugs that still haven’t been fixed to this day. I still like the game and say it’s a good game, but to say it was amazing is hyperbole. Console based RTS games are just tricky.
Like I said though, we have to see if Infinite picks up the storyline or not. If it does, and helps conclude the SOF’s story, then we won’t see anything additional. If not, then who knows.

I guess that’s personal opinion, and I’m fairly certain we experienced HW2 in very different ways haha.
I think it sounds cool! I do love myself a short halo series.
