So most Halo fans have seen the Halo trailer with Master Chief wearing all that clothing robes right? So I was thinking earlier that since Halo 5’s campaign was so disappointing (343), then Halo 6’s campaign outta be better.What I mean is that in Halo5, you could get a legendary ending with the Halo ring and Exuberant humming. So maybe, that trailer was really for Halo 6. Thats why there was no 5 in sight at the end. However, my friend told me there was a 5, but no matter how hard I looked, I never found it. So if any of you know that there is a 5, then correct me. Moving on. So That Halo ring and Halo 6 might be the place where LOCKE AND CHIEF ACTUALLY FIGHT EACH OTHER THREE FOUR THREE! Anyways, I think it would be interesting if Cortana might have took her guardian to planet Reach to hide. Maybe thats where the guardian was. What I think of the future for Halo is that Chief is gonna fight cortana and get into her guardian and get her in the AI chip somehow. I think Chief just loves Cortana way too much which is kinda sad. I think Chief will for real go rouge in Halo 6.

The Halo 5 trailer didnt have 5 in the name because 343i was still deciding on the title’s name. There was an alternate trailer released that showed it was indeed Halo 5 but it didnt have the sub title ‘Guardians’ yet.

Damn thought I had something there. But it would be great to visit Reach again.

- Don’t you think it’d be odd for a human city with a statue of Chief and no visible Halo on the horizon to be on a Halo?
- Reach never had a red moon as indicated in that trailer, which was just a conceptual one for Halo in general, so its canonical status is uncertain.
- Cortana doesn’t have a datachip anymore.

It’s not called the Xbone it’s called the Halobox.

I wasn’t talking about that trailer…
That was nothing but a teaser for Halo coming to the Xbox One. They released two different trailers the one with the “5” on it came months later without the subtitle “Guardians”. That teaser may not ever play a significant role in the games as none of the Hunt the Truth ad campaign played into Halo 5.
As for the rest of the post, people speculated the original teaser took place in the Ark from Halo 3 including myself as the similarities are blatant.
As for the legendary ending, that was Cortana humming. We don’t know what her plans are and frankly… I don’t think 343 do either. The Halo ring was just thrown in there last minute in my honest opinion. But I could be wrong. And to be honest Cortana does not need anymore Guardians, believe me. She has dozens at her disposal already.
In trailers it showed Locke and Chief fighting each other on a human colony in which I assume is Meridian from Halo 5. I feel as if the conflict and Meridian were to play onto a larger scheme of things and I speculate 343 changed the story script for Halo 5 last minute. So sorry bud. We’re probably not going to be seeing CvL conflict anymore; unless they write it in, in a believable sense…
And to be honest, Chief going rogue is exhausted already. I’m burnt out on it. He’s been AWOL twice before Halo 5. And in Halo 5; 343 ruined a perfect chance to create an endearing tale. I don’t want Chief to go rogue anymore as the potential for it has been lost…

Yeah I thought it was Exuberant because of the fact that shes a monitor and Guilty spark wanted to activate a ring so I just assumed that Exuberant wanted to do the same. But I stand corrected.
