Wassup Waypoint? Me and my friends just spent about 3 hours playing around with theoretical controller schemes for Halo 4, and we really think we’ve hit the sweetspot with our awesome new controller scheme. We really think this is a great controller scheme, as it allows the use of both the armor abilities and Sprint, while maintaining classic Halo controls, reminiscent of Halo 1 or 2 controller schemes. Also, having the AA and Sprint on the bumpers allows crouch, and therefore the crouch jump, to remain on the sticks rather than be moved, rather awkwardly, to the B button.

B = Melee
X = Reload
Y = Swap Weapon
RB = AA
LB = Sprint
RT = Shoot
LT = Throw Grenade
RS = Scope In/Out
LS = Crouch
D-Pad = Swap Grenade

It’s nice that you want to improve the game but they will not change the control scheme. Halo 4 is basically finished and they are only fixing bugs at this point.

Which is why it is good that it is only a controller scheme, which is easy and quick to implement.

This, Not to mention they could patch it in after the game goes gold.

Changing things in the game may create more bugs but that’s not the point. When the game is finished it’s finished. If they are only fixing bugs that’s what they are going to do.

I’ve never seen any game developer change their control scheme after launch so I think that’s not going to happen.

It’s been so popular that everyone’s reposting it. But you should get the credit for it, no question.
I really hope they add this. They have 2 months to make it as an update. It couldn’t take more than a few days to create a new control layout. Just need to take the current Recon and switch some stuff around. It would be a HUGE favor to classic Halo fans. Just don’t give up hope.

And Im happy with it, more repost more chance to happen. The layout isnt mine-its everyone’s. But I dont like this guy claiming that this image is his.
Please 343 with this constant flood of the same post clearly youu must realize this is affecting thousands of players it surely cant be to late to add even a launch day title update its only adding one control scheme how much work can it take one allnighter from whatever team is in charge of this. Please it will be a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Relief to many players.

I haven’t claimed it’s mine. I claimed that it was made by Pok3R Fac3D, not knowing that it was yours. I however DID come up with the layout previously, just seeing a picture of it inspired me to make this post. DW though, cos I’ve credited you now
