I’ll be honest, I liked the demo. It looks like a great sci-fi FPS game. However, it does not look like a good Halo. it looks like they tried to mix destiny with doom, with weird lighting, and low res textures on that brute. It feels like 343 wants to copy popular shooters and not use their own history. I love the look of chief, the pelican, the pilot, and even some of the other bits like animals and the warthog. The only part of this that genuinely felt “Halo” was the music, which by far is the best part of the demo. I’m sure it’ll be a good game, and maybe its time for me to stop hoping halo will be “Halo”, instead of standard sci-fi shooter. Respect to those who love everything they saw, its made for you. I’m still gonna get it, not cause its halo, but because it looks like a fun sci-fi shooter.
