After many week-long bans after replying to trolls, whiners, people who report me… I’ve come to the conclusion that the vast majority of everybody on the forums is a cyberbully, and 343i would be more comfortable replying and speaking in their own forums if they knew we weren’t a bunch of volatile jerk-offs incapable of self-restraint or rational thought. Do you disagree? Even if you do, it’s the truth. I know how you feel, I know how you want to reply - because I’ve observed several thousand replies to topics. YOU want to disagree out of spite. Some will agree, but the vast majority will disagree.
Hell, if you’ve read the whole ‘paragraph’ up there and made it this far. I applaud you.
The best way to cure 343i’s silence is to be more supportive and offer constructive criticism without the face scrunched salty-as-hell-rage-filled replies. I try the satirical approach - that comes off as me being an A-hole… but hey, I tried to be different. I know how it feels to have somebody criticize something you’ve worked so hard to accomplish.
343i was trying to make this game as big as they could, but ended up forgetting a bunch of things or simply neglecting to put them in. I get it. They’re people. They have emotions. They were probably sad about a minority audience liking Halo 4 to it’s fullest. I personally found the multiplayer boring, and the rank and unlock system tedious. The campaign wasn’t so bad. It was kind of sad, didn’t make sense when they killed off John and made him survive a nuclear detonation via plot immunity but other than that it was alright - might as well have brought Johnson back with that ‘hand of god’ story-telling. On the other hand, there was the Didact who was kind of like those crappy villains. Like when the obviously superior Didact threw chief across the room and then just decided: “Oh, he’s a little insect, just leave him to die by slipspace rupture”. Then he got bit in the -Yoink- for his arrogance, but still - the whole game… Chief felt like a lonely old man.
Halo 5. False advertising? Yes in a manner of speaking. I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t like their showdown… but I didn’t hate Locke as much as I thought I would. What’s more interesting is the fact that Chief had a VERY minor role in the Campaign along with Blue Team. I wanted more Chief. That showdown should’ve been fully animated with CGI instead of using Motion Capture because in the books it CLEARLY states that you can barely follow the movements of Spartans when in Hand-to-Hand combat. I could follow Chief and Locke’s movements very easily. Honestly, where was the badassness in that video? It was just two old men having a boxing match. Trying not to break any bones. It was a disappointment.
Still, I’ve contributed time and money to Halo 5. So I’ll be glad for any extra content provided by 343. Although I’d much prefer to play Halowars 2 when it releases later this year.
Back to what I was saying… so you’re all cyber bullies. Yah. Try to be nicer. Thankies <3
