A gamemode idea I have...

So since my return to Halo 5 recently I completed the campaign on solo legendary.
One of the things that popped into my head when fighting the Kraken was…

Kraken Assault
This is my idea, it is basically Invasion. So here’s the rundown.
It would be 32v32, it would last for 30 minutes (Upon objective capture it would extend by 20 minutes) and it would drop in a content update that also added playable Elites.

The Elites:
The Elite team would spawn below deck on the Kraken. They have 30 Seconds to get to a Anti-Air shade turret or a Banshee to Defend the first objective (More Info Below) Once the first Objective has been completed the Elites have to defend the inner works of the Kraken. If one of the points are captured (More Info Below) The Elites retreat to the Krakens Core to defend it. The Krakens Core has the same health as The Warden Eternal on Legendary. If the core is destroyed you must either Escape the Kraken or go down with it. Upon its destruction the Elites have one life for the sudden death mode (More Info Below). If all Elites die in sudden death it is Total Defeat.

The Spartans:
The Spartan team upon the game starting will be shown a screen on it you can choose to either spawn in a Wasp, Hornet or Falcon. (You can spawn on falcon turrets)
After the 30 seconds preparation time is up the Spartans will have to push an attack on the Kraken. They must destroy 6 Weak points (They would be pretty obvious)
that would spawn in random places around the Kraken’s walls. When all 6 are destroyed the shields drop allowing the Spartans to land on the deck they must now try and capture one of the 3 points to control the lower deck. Upon the capture the Spartans must try and destroy the core. Upon the cores destruction you have 20 seconds to escape the doomed Kraken. Once the 20 seconds are up the remaining Spartans and Elites enter Sudden death mode. This is where everyone alive now has one life and 2 minutes. In the 2 minutes they must try to kill the other survivors on the opposite team.

Spartan Victory/Defeat
If the Spartans win and kill all Elites they get Total Victory
If the Spartans win but some Elites live they get Victory
If the Spartans win but the Elites killed all the Spartans they would get Victory
If the Spartans Fail the first objective they get Total Defeat
If the Spartans Fail the Second/Third objective they get Defeat

Elite Victory/Defeat:
If the Elites successfully defend the first objective they get Total Victory
If the Elites Successfully defend the Second/Third objective They get Victory
If the Elite all die in Sudden Death they get Total Defeat
If the Elites Kill all Spartans in Sudden Death they get Defeat
If the Elites have survivors at the end of Sudden death they get Defeat

If you have anything to add please do!

This sounds awesome! I doubt it would happen in Halo 5, but Halo 6 maybe…

This does sound very good. I miss invasion, and playing as elites.
This can’t happen in halo 5 though. The update required for this would be huge and halo 5 is already nearly 100gb. To bring in falcon’s, hornets, elites and 64 players would just be unbelievable
