If your doing an assassination , I think the game should not let a friendly come up and take YOUR kill. Just too many trolls out there.

Turn off your assassinations…they look cool but you’re just opening yourself up to it. They’re pretty useless IMO…just go classic back-smack more effective and faster,
i disagree cus then ur team mate an just steal ur kill by walking behind ur target and knifing them…which is when i yoink as i was clearly ending the guy 1st…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I won’t purposefully yoink someone, but if I don’t see you initiate the assassination I’m going to open fire. Sometimes I can’t tell who is assassinating who.

i will kill your target in the assassination if it frees you up to help in a 1v2 situation now moving to a 2v2. Assassinations are more of a hindering thing and have no gain besides “looking cool”. So many assassinate in a situation where had you not assassinated you could win the engagement, instead the enemy can easily kill me while you’re in the process if your assassination and then they can pick you off easily since you’re unable to fight back. The traditional beat down is far quicker and much more efficient on not keeping you out of a fight.

Yea I’ve Yoinked teammates assassinations because it looks like they’re getting killed and then they start yelling at me about it so after a few times they got the hint and changed assassinations
I wish they still had the yoink medal and that sound when you stole someones assassination, atleast then you realize what you did

What is even the point of this Thread? You start assasinating someone, then someone on your team steals the kill. Boo-hoo for you. In FFA I would understand, you lost the kill and now there’s a guy who’s had a good millisecond to start firing and you’re screwed. But in Warzone or Team Slayer or whatever your team’s got an advantage, and you should push it. Don’t start whining to that other guy because he shot at the enemy.
IMHO I don’t really care if my teammate steals my assassination. Still better than someone from the enemy team mowing me down while performing a assasination out in the open.
If you don’t want a kill stolen, kill them faster. Simple as that. Why do you need the validation of some animation for a kill? Just smack them in the back and move on.

I think they took it away to stop giving people recognition for Yoinking. Though I’m not sure if it actually stops people from doing it.
Sure in the middle of a huge firefight taking the kill from me is a good idea but I’ve had plenty of situations where it was one on one and I got the assassination and a teammate still stole my kill. I guess assassinating isn’t necessary but let me have my fun
I agree. I don’t have a problem with it if there are more enemies coming and I’m going to die if it isn’t ended but when I start assassinating get half way through it and some guy runs up and kills him it’s like really dude? Couldn’t have just let me get the kill and watch my badass assassination animation? It’s like getting 100 dollars and someone walking up and taking it then kicking you in the balls just because they could.
