A forge world is good and all BUT....

It’s pretty much a “you can’t win” attitude with most fans here.

You desperately, DESPERATELY wanted to oppertunity to have different forge pallets. Now you have 3. Imagine if you had to go through and change each piece manually, which would triple the size of the maps and lag the game out. I think you would all complain.

So we get 3 maps. All of which large enough to forge a serious playspace on. Name me ONE good map that took up the whole of forge world? Yes, flying about was nice, but on a practical forging based level, nobody really cared. Between the three worlds, there is a larger amount of good environments than forge world had (minus the water :O)

If you think you need all the space to make a good map, then you have no clue what a good map is. You are a sheep, quite frankly, if you believe that.

Go check out www.forgehub.com. No shortage of good maps there.

So actually, you have lost nothing practical. You got what you wanted. Now shush please.

Have a nice day.

I swear down if somebody says HURP DURP DONT DEFEND 343 YOU CARNT HAZ 0P1N10NZ ONLY one hundred thousand P33PZ UNLIIIYYNNNEEE

For medium maps sure, but none of them are big eough for a big team map. Impact is the right size, but it’s split in the middle so you have to spend loads of time building a big enough area to join the 2.

To be honest if they gave us a forge world 2.0 and in the options menu we could change the theme, that would have been absolutely perfect.

But nay, they gave us 3 small areas. :frowning:

all 3 of them have enough space to design a nice BTB map. The only thing lacking in the 3 maps are enough flat surface for vehicular play.

I like the 3 different environments but they are a lil small and one of the best parts of forge world was flying around lol.

I miss forge world only because the hunger games was amazing on forge world mainly cause theyre was just so much

I don’t like the forge worlds because I want just a big box. I don’t want hills, holes, dugouts, etc. I just want a perfectly, level, even, square map. And I don’t want to waste forge money on making one.

Neither of the spaces are particularly good and all the random human and Forerunner geometry gets in the way of Forging. A lot of maps I see on Ravine don’t even use the field, but the sides of the mountains.

they are all possible for big maps, if you hover around most of them there is allot of room before reaching a Killbarrier. Ravine has alllot of free space in open areas alil abov the water and stretches pretty far out.

I’m in favor of multiple Forge environments, but the ones we got can be too restrictive with kill boundaries at times. For example, on top of the Erosion arena, there’s a perfectly good forging space, yet half of it has a kill boundary.
The best forging map in my opinion would be one the size of Forge World and still include multiple environments.
