A fix, but not to the problem

Look, I appreciate that 343 is monitoring feedback and released a hotfix I do, but I feel like they are missing the point.

To start with, 50xp a match vs 200xp for your first 4 matches then 200 for every 2… this is hardly a fix, this just increases the grind. Before I could log in, play 3 matches and be done for the day, now I need to play more than triple the amount of games and time in the game just to earn that measly 600xp I got before… what?

Secondly, the issue isn’t just that the grind is slow (and is now slower) but that players aren’t being rewarded for playing well, just playing to pre determined challenges. We have a points system in the game already, tie that point system to our xp for each game at a high division rate, 100pts equals 1-10 xp for example, then players will be rewarded for playing the game as it was intended and be incentivised to do objectives and help their team.

Last, increasing the effectiveness of boosts whilst decreasing total xp earnt? Could you be anymore obvious :joy:

I am glad we are being given the visor for free now, I appreciate that, but I don’t feel like I having to grind four matches to get the same amount of xp (200 vs 50) is a good fix to any of the problems at hand.

343, please fix the issues, not the symptoms. Thank you.

I would like to add at first the enemy HUD indicator being constantly illuminated was an interesting addition. However the more you play the more you don’t understand the advantage of it or the purpose. You begin to realize with this setting set to default for ranked matches etc. actually makes it very difficult to determine whether or not your shots are connecting which ultimately affects accuracy.
