A few suggestions

Increase fall damage to be like it was in CE and add the PR stun effect if you can. These would make the final touches IMO.

well, the game is finished now so they cant really add anything more unless they do it through XBL, but i still agree with you and i think they will add those features.

I’m concerned about dying too quickly regardless of which weapons you are shot by. In Halo CE it took longer to kill someone and close quarter battles would be reduced to just melee and grenades while your AR clip was empty. These tense standoffs is what made the original CE multiplayer so fun for me.

I think the damage resistance is too low in Reach. But maybe they’ve fixed this by increasing weapon damage in general, not just for the pistol. There are so many little intricacies of CE multiplayer that can be forgotten or overlooked.

Unlike the campaign they can’t replicate the overall feel and mechanics of halo CE. That’s limited by the reach engine.

You forgot about your pistol a lot or you were playing an AR only gametype. Still, I agree melee battles were a lot more tense and fun then compared to what they are now.
