343i has impressed many Halo fans with their innovative updates to Halo 5. We asked for a great Forge, we got it. We asked for infection, we got it. We demanded a UNSC flying vehicle, and we -Yoinking!- got it. As an initial skeptic, I hated the overly competitive focus of Halo 5, but 343i’s updates have made plenty of room for both social gamers, and competitive gamers. Now, Halo 5 has plenty of room for improvement (as does any game), but for all intents and purposes it’s a great representation of Halo’s next evolution.
All this being said, 343i, please allow us these few small, easily implemented requests:
-Allow the removal of enemy gamertags in game options (for Day Z, TeamTac, etc)
-Allow proximity chat between teams in gamechat (for Forging when the party won’t work)
-Make gamechat muting two-way (so they can’t hear you either)
-Allow in-game booting (for customs/forge)
-Fix the thing where customs lock at 8 people, please!
-Allow in-game join option changing (so we don’t have to end our forge game when “MapDeleter78” joins)
-Organize the friends display like Reach’s (with people grouped together based on what they are playing, ie Matchmaking, Customs, Forge, etc)
-Inject new maps into Infection every two weeks or so
-Boost action sac’s player count to 16, or create a 16 player action sac playlist
You’ve done great thus far, especially in the Forge department. The Action Sac playlist is also a major innovation, I’m in love with Tank World. Also, if you could somehow get Warzone AIs (marines mainly) into Forge, we’d really appreciate it. We’d like to be able to spawn them in to see how they look on our maps. Oh, and a large terrain-based map similar to (or even an exact replica of) Forge World would be wonderful.
