Reach was announced in June 2009 and by may we were playing the beta and knew almost everything about multiplayer by this time in 2010 the only thing we didn’t know about was forge.
They aren’t hiding anything. They probably don’t want to make any big announcements until E3. (Besides, do you really want this forum to get even crazier?)
I get this feeling with a few developers lately. Like Crystal Dynamics and the new Tomb Raider or with Bungie and their new game. I do believe though that we will be getting a lot of news from 343 and others this E3 so no need to worry. Just wait until the Microsoft Press Conference and get ready to collapse of excitement when it finally comes on.

Gameplay, trailers, interviews. The internet’ll be full of them next week.
I enjoy buildup to the game almost as much as the game itself, its exciting, everyday their could be new info or a leaked photo. gives me something to think about instead of how badly the world is going to crap.
> They know people will rage when they announce all the new stupid things they have added to the game.
No.
They know some people are going criticise and complain about the changes they made purely because they are changes. They won’t even look twice to those who claim they are “stupid”. Those who are unsure about what is shown they will attempt to explain Halo 4 has brought change but it has also sustained a classic feel.
Yes of course 343i know how some will react, Frankie said the reaction were expected regarding the First Look video. That is expected from any series follow up and major franchise, 343i knew this from the very beginning. But above all, they are not releasing a game or info knowing it is not up to standard, they created it and even if you don’t like it, it doesn’t matter for them because you will still buy the game.
