My little heart was torn in twain, 343 put in Operator. OPERATOR?!
No one ever wears operator apart from when we all started out as scrubby reach 12 year olds.
You I’m going to level with the end of this survey here, this probably won’t be seen, read or even acknowledged.
If this somehow is read by 343 though, please, for a single fan, could you potentially add the ‘JFO UA’ helmet into Halo 5 please.
I know realistically you won’t do my full set of armour to go along with so I’m probably pushing my luck.
If that helmet gets added to Halo 5 I will snap my current copy of Halo 5 and go buy another so you can all make a ton of money, holla atch ya dollar barvo boi.
If the whole set gets made before Halo Wars 2’s release I will buy the super limited edition as well so you can all retire as happy Halo creators.
No one will read this and whoever hears my request I am so sorry.
On a serious note, they could implement more Classic Helmets later on. There are plenty of helmets missing, Rogue(Gen1), JFO, GUNGNIR(Gen1),Hazop, EOD(Gen1),CQC, Scout (Gen1, Halo 3), and ODST (Gen1). Based on feedback, it’s possible for these to still be added in later.

Yea. Some people think we’re all one big hivemind wanting the same things. But everyone has all sorts of different ideas, and 343’s goal is to not make a perfect game for everyone, but one that everyone will injoy for years.
I ask you guys, what’s better for the game/community? A more varied set of playspaces and gameplay experiences, or armor that you barely even see and has NO impact on the gameplay experience?
It’s all derived from dev time/resources/money… how would you rather them spend it? I’d rather them spend it on producing content that matters!

A good example of what you are saying is Halo CE and Halo 2. There is barely any customization, yet they are some of the most successful Halos.

Exactly… let’s get back to that! Not saying I want that style of content but bring back that development philosophy!
We have some fantastic stuff in H5, but the variety has taken a backseat in order to pump out the most content possible, to the point where it’s just rehashed garbage. Armors, visors, gimmicky vehicles and weapons… Maps with nearly the same basic layouts… Gigabytes of clutter that dumb down the overall experience.
…because that dev time could’ve been used to produce something else. Something better.
It’s neat that they’re adding more helmets… And cosmetic mods. But where’s the organization huh??? Group these armors and their variants for Pete’s sake!
“Getting Halo Reach armors”… YAY!!! Now can we get Halo Reach’s organization too? Fix the REQ system??? Loadouts??? Come on.
I actually am grateful they’re adding the helmets at all. Most games just get pumped out with little to no post release support, which is something that 343 excels at, even over a year after the initial release. They don’t need to do it at all, but it’s great that they think about the community enough to set up forums, actually respond to people on them, give free updates and revise gametypes based on fans’ feedback… I agree that perhaps if they were going to do a ‘theme’ of helmets though, it should contain the whole pack of helmets. We already had some from Reach, and that was great. They gave us the majority of extra helmets, and that’s also great. It’s a shame they didn’t get the one you wanted though, but at least they have been trying to deliver. That’s something you have to admire.

I don’t really admire it when we get reskinned assets and 5 more “shades” of the same exact colored visor… and that’s more or less half of everything we’ve gotten in the updates.
Updates are nice, but when they should be nicer… ehh, can’t say I’ve been too impressed.

It’s always been apart of the communities job, for any franchise to tell the creators what we’d like to see.

So people need to get with the program and push for the content that Halo NEEDS to be a great and successful game… It’s not helmets or cosmetics!
We don’t need to be able to play dress-up with our Spartans to have a quality map pool/MP suite… Customization is welcome, to a point, but it’s reached a level where it’s become far too important to fans and in the dev process.
I’m basically saying that the community needs to wake up and ask themselves, “What really matters?” Would you rather have 20 versions of the same map, and a bunch of customization options, some also recycled, or 20 completely unique, top quality and iconic Halo maps, all with ranging traits and types of gameplay, with 5 unique but great looking armor sets?
We need to get our priorities in line, as collective Halo customers.

I can have dreams -Yoink!-!
Also I said I’d get Halo Wars 2 if they did it. (COUGHmarketingCOUGH)
Also to everyone who is crying about all of the fix’s, this wasn’t a serious thread, just a joke.
Don’t get me wrong if they did this it would be amazing but I’m well aware there are issue with Halo 5 that should be addressed, please try not to post as much hate <3
