Don’t get me wrong, halo is pretty much perfect as it is! However something I have fought of for ages would be to play it as the covenant, play from their POV… destroy reach not save it etc etc. Not nly playable elites but like other races of the covenant too! Like jackals for good damage but really week, elites for Spartans etc… a lot will not like the idea, but I think it would be really cool.
Could even do a flood based game, where as you rank up you can change from infected things or spaws all the way upto pure forms etc… the lure is so expansive and I love what has already happened!! But I think seeing it from the bad guys view would be awesome.

I think there’s a sizable group that have wanted a game from the Covenants perspective for a while now, me included.
I’d like to see a horror type Halo game featuring the Flood.
I have always said that there should be a Halo game from the Covenant’s perspective. You could play as Thel 'Vadamee as he tries to safeguard the Halo ring in Halo: Combat Evolved.
Would be cool to see a game about the Great Schism. Do it H2 style with two perspectives from opposing sides. Then you can play as an Elite AND a Brute!
It’s a great idea, perhaps it could be a spin off game like Spartan Assault, so that it compliments the main series. The idea of choosing your race before fighting sounds very unique maybe it can function like the Halo 4 Spartan Ops where there are set missions and you can choose what race suits the mission best.
Unfortunately I don’t think something like this will fit with a multiplayer, but that shouldn’t detract from the singleplayer.

totally agree. Halo flood. waves of flood progressively getting harder. kinda like firefight

I think a lot of us want to see that. I totally agree with you. We did get to see in the eyes of arbiter but what about a grunt like actually
