Well, we all know that Halo isn’t what it used to be. It wasn’t the game that made it less popular, it was the community. My best example is those 10 year olds on the file share who make those anime pieces of -Yoink-, or the clan pictures. And -Yoink!- it you better believe it that I’m pissed about the community, the Halo 3 community was fantastic with forge art funny pictures, and machinima with amazing game types and maps,we used to be artisans, but now the reach file share is a just a very crumby, dirty place were the name of Halo is tarnished with each post!So I’m begging 343 to clean up the file share in Halo 4, make the community more involved! And members, you have to do your part! Quit downloading and recommending that trash or clan -Yoink-. I know most of you readers will put this as butt hurt but please take my advice if you want a better community.
I have a Banshee gametype and map in my file share. Designed around nothing but Banshee dogfights for 1-4 team matches. Check it out if you think spawncamping with the Banshee takes skill and that nobody is better then you in it.

Lol, I agree. I turn on my Xbox 360 everyday, play a few games, and am instantly flooded with clan invites.

its not that the halo forging community changed much from halo 3 to reach, its the fact that everyone’s fileshare can be looked up with a single press of a button, where in Halo 3 you had to go to that persons gamer profile or use that persons gamertag to see their fileshares.
I remember seeing quiet a bit of clan pics and anime drawing during my halo 3 Career, but that’s probably because I made a habit to look at almost every person’s fileshare after a match.
I agree with you anyways, I enjoy the new search capability’s in Halo Reach, but all it end up doing is put a spot light to that part of the forging community where as before it was more in the shadows. I’d appreciate an improved filtering system to filter out particular stuff from my searches/recommendations.
I think 343 just needs to monitor the file browser more and make sure the file browser stays clean. I don’t want “h0t an1m3 gurl p1c” to be on the ‘Most Recommended’ list.

I personally enjoy the Anime/-Yoink!- and the other GunArt, as I love xXteh breastzXx. If you stand by the belief that the “Artistic” screenies should be thought of as higher than -Yoink- made out of guns…well, I don’t agree with you, everyone has their own taste. I found the constant Art-flavored Bungie Favorites quite horrible and annoying. I had more fun on maps like Brick Town and Fat Kid Castle, and gametypes like Ghostbusters and Smear the -Yoink-, than I did playing MLG headshots and looking at ßR FTW and other image-effect pictures (that remind me of fraking Cam-Wow, shame). I respect your opinion, but the “Childish” files will always be fun. I was a kid (sort of, 10 - 12) when I played Halo 3, and because of that my Halo tastes may be somewhat childish, but even though I excel my expectations of myself on a daily basis, (Ego-bragger alert!!!) I still find laughing and giggling with my buddies a better experience than winning the match and fighting with my friends over who’s the better player. /Rantover

Ironically, your whole post screams of butt hurt. why should people listen to you if your entire post is you acting like a kid with grade school arguments. It’s funny isn’t it, you pretty much described yourself in that one post. No wonder why you were so descriptive and accurate, you had yourself as a reference.
