Honestly, the show wasnt terrible The action and story was invigorating enough to be captive, the interactions between actors was perfect. And even though Cathrine is basically a house mom she was pretty decent.
I have a problem with Miranda. Now first things first, the actress is doing an AMAZING job doing her job. I wasn’t happy about the black washing, not because she’s black but because canonically shes a strong white woman who knelt to no one. I’d have been so happy with a strong black woman who knelt to no one but she bloody CAVES to a damn teenager. Just bends like a grass blade in a typhoon.
Chiefs armor was cool till I saw his damn double chin. Why do the other Spartans have better armor than chief???
Why is a human a part of the covenant?
Why does the AR sound like a p90 with a wide muzzle bore?
Why do the elites look they quadruple downed on protein powder and forgot Thier spines have curvature?
Outside of that? It’s what we deserve in a halo show. The props look awesome, marines look perfect, the weapons are so smooth and -Yoink!-, and the dude playing Captain Keyes was basted awesome. A stoic man with devotion to God and country. Not to mention even though the HUD was orange it was really cool to see the reticle and functionality of the shielding. I only wish they did a recharge animation. Like a shimmer effect.
