Not that this is 343’s fault, but it seems that most of my slayer games consist of being blown apart by the sheer amount of Grenades that are on the map and that everyone spawns with. I even see people jumping off the edges of maps to get grenades again. This has always been a problem in Halo, but I think if we spawned with 1 grenade, it would discourage the spam that we see now.
Also, I am so sick and tired of the Boltshot. It’s like spawning with a shotgun. You charge it up, let it fire, kill. The range on the charge shot is ridiculous as well. In fights where I have a Shotgun or Scattershot, it seems like the person who spawns with the Boltshot is on even footing with me, even though I either picked up or used my ordnance for a Shotgun.
One final thing, I don’t think that Sniper Weapons should be in the Ordinance drops. I get that they’re pretty random, but those people who are proficient with Snipers no longer need to run back to the place where the Sniper spawns to get ammo, they just kill people with the Sniper, then get ordinance and get a Sniper drop, my teammates have had games where they have a Sniper-weapon the whole game. That shouldn’t be happening as often as it seems to be to me.
