A compromise on Armour Cores

As it currently stands you, for some strange reason, cannot use armour pieces from the MK7 armour core with the MK5B armour core and vice versa. Same goes for Yoroi.

WHY?

If the reason is something technical, like meshes mix together or textures overlap, how come MCC does it. Was there not waves of criticism on the Halo Online armours that had 343 put in a toggle in the game?

If it’s monetisation related then… Honestly I’ve no idea for this one.

If it’s a conflict of art stylen then, MCC does it

So I propose, to the team at 343i a compromise. How about the MK7 armours and MK5B armours are brought together and renamed the Orion Armour core. Allow players to filter the prior named armours but also allow someone to use the MKVII helmet with Jorge’s chest attatchment.
Yoroi would remain a seperate core to showcase the different fradtures and keep non-canon items seperate from canon. I’d love to mix match them too but as I said a compromise.
You could even market it too in the store, have youtuber kits of mix-matched armours, or sell more bundles too.
Thoughts?

Whatever the reason given, it’s just terrible for player identity & expression, customization has been a staple in Halo for over a decade now & it’s really unfortunate that we’ve somewhat regressed to a system where you can’t even pick your own colours anymore & you can’t place the coating on another armor core.

This is a frustratingly complicated system.
