This could be anything, but I’ll share it.
I was browsing YouTube for rumors regarding a remake of CE. This was before E3 2011, and rumors of a CE remake were floating around, but nobody knew of Halo 4, aside from those making it. So I came to this video of a guy talking about various game rumors. He touched on a CE remake for a small portion of this video. As I always do, I looked at the comments. One was by a channel called 343industries. The words I can still remember - Fans should expect a major installment in the Halo franchise every three years, with side releases (such as Halo 3: ODST) being released yearly". I was intrigued by this comment because of the channel name of the commenter. 343industries was the channel, clear as day. Now I should have investigated further, but I did not. I remembered that incident, so I decided to search the channel name. I did not come across any channels by the name of 343industries, just many hits the channel HaloWaypoint. Could be some guy who got the name and was fooling around, but I think this could be more.
What made this significant is "with side releases (such as Halo 3: ODST) being released yearly. Could this mean 343 has more in store for us?
Again it could be some imposter, but the channel is nonexistent now, and that makes me wonder.
I dont understand what you’re getting at here, some random guy on youtube said that there would be more odst games and thats it or what? Cause I’m confused at what you’re saying.

I am sorry it is written so poorly. I think whoever 343industries really is saying that there will be games of the same sort as ODST, like a game that isn’t the main story but like a side story.
So you think whoever reserved the channel name 343industries is just some random guy? By all means you are probably right, but perhaps it was a real 343 employee(s)’ channel.

Why would they choose to reveal information that big in the comments of one video? Random employee or not, I’d think they’d make it widely know.
That is more logical, but why was the comment so detailed (it was more so than what I remember of it), and why is the channel gone? And this was before E3 2011 where Halo 4 was announced, so how could they even guess?
You mean guess halo 4? A number of people including my self guessed that halo 4 and anniversary would be announced then and released on their dates, look at comments on this site before e3.
> Why would the account be terminated if this was just a guy though?
Cause he was using a name of 343I, and wasn’t an employee, it’s a legal thing, I bet 343i has some one who watches of that kind of thing, and as soon as some one other than 343i, makes an account, and claim they’re 343i, they poke one of Microsoft’s many layers and have them check the account out, and find who made it, and buy the account off the guy, sues the guy, or gets the web site admin to ban and delete account.

Could have been an anonymous leak
Anyway, I hope it’s true. I like ODST-style short games… hopefully this time they’ll be a bit cheaper though.

Yeah, games like that really open the Halo Universe, or at least it did for me.
