Looking forward to the H2 remakes!
Hmmmm, this is very interesting. As a classic fan and player that started in the H2 era, a classic playlist would be amazing. While I do like some of what was done with the Spartan Abilities (sprint, slide), I’d love to see how H5 would flow without anyone having or using the abilities.
Finally
What more can I say? As long as the maps are tested to fit the no abilities and buffed base speed, it should be fine.
They said this months ago, I don’t care anymore honestly as I’m just done with this game.
i still forsee abilities in it if they “were” to add a classic playlist as that’s e actually what they did with the CE anniversary, play absolutely nothing like CE and really just ruined it.

Agreed, too little too late for many people.
The Throwback Playlist never claimed to be classic, just a throwback to CE with maps and a magnum.

How about these people just make h3A for those of us who are classic fans, since mcc still is in an unacceptable state. Still waiting for mcc to have dedicated servers as promised.

Yeah that would be great, I’m pretty sure they made one for btb so if they rescaled it for the halo 2 movement system that would be grand.
Might not be Halo 2 but damn I need some Guardian in my life again!

I wish they’d make a full blown remake of Guardian in Halo 5. Think about how beautiful it’d look in H5’s graphics.

I’ll check this out when it drops, but I honestly think this decision is about 12 months too late. Old school Halo players were crying out for this playlist from day one. It just feels like 343i are throwing scraps out, the people who wanted this have long left Halo 5 and I can’t really see them coming back.

Never played Reach but it was still my answer to everything in 3.
The million dollar question is, are Spartan Abilities on or off? That is what people want to know.
I’m betting they’ll be on. So it’ll be more like classic maps with Halo 5 gameplay.
If they are off, cool, but far too late for all the people who would of played them. This kind of thing needs to be in at launch IMO.

Reach was terrible I would agree but.only due to its damage and bloom. Halo 3 was just trash because it’s accuracy was so bad and being projectile.
