I enjoy this game. I have no problem with the gameplay that Halo 5 offers.
But these last few days to a week in Warzone have made me lose my mind. Getting into games where my core is destroyed within 10mins because my team is full of randoms and we get pug stomped by a team that has a group of 4+. Just today I lost to a core destruction to a team that had 9 people in the same Spartan company. My team ended up with only like 6 people at the end. Then I was on a team that had a group and we stomped all over the other team. I felt bad. Its not fun for either team.
I play to enjoy myself and having these games last a whopping 10mins is not fun. There are no epic fights that break out since you are being base camped and have level 4 req while the other team is rocking level 8s.
To those guys who at that point continue to try and take out mongeese and scout hogs to go cap a base I give you mad props. I usually just rage and camp the base and kill those that enter.
All I am asking for is a change that when the game sees that a group of players is queued together it will attempt to put a likewise group of players onto the other team.
So if a group of 5 queues into a Warzone match the game will look for another group 4 or 5 and place them on the other team. If a massive group of 9 queues it will look for 2 groups of 4 or whatever it can grab.
This should be a pretty easy change and if there is a downside I see none. I don’t even want to click the play button to queue for a match anymore because I know odds are I will get pug stomped by some super team. This would at least look to even the field a little bit.
And maybe if a team is being base camped their reqs could charge faster or if they are down by 2 or more players they get cheaper reqs/faster req charge time. Because quite frankly when you see that your team is being stomped on most people quit. On average I think I have seen the teams that are getting owned down by more than 3 people.
