A Brief Summary of Blitz Abilities

So as the beta is out and I notice some people are having issues in the game such as losing everything to suicide grunts. I figure I should let you all know a summary and example as to how each card phrasing works, what it effects and so forth. As well as every applicable unit’s special (Y button or PC equivalant button)

Special effects

  • Blast - When the unit dies, where it died makes a glowing circle appear on the floor which charges up. Any enemy unit within it, Land or Air will be destroyed or suffer heavy damage - Rush - The unit that has this doesn’t get combat fatigue at all. Immediately having full health and full attack strength as if summoned at the home base. - Detect - This counters Cloak, allowing the unit to see any cloaked enemies if nearby. (As far as I am aware, the unit must still be near it to attack it.) - Cloak - This makes the unit that has it deploy invisibly and can move and attack without revealing itself for 90 seconds. Or until a Detect unit spots it. - Shield - The unit that has this gains an energy shield that absorbs damage and regenerates when not in combat (I believe it’s the small bar on top of the health bar in game) - Siphon - The unit with this heals to themselves whatever amount of damage they do to the enemy. (Best do two vs one against them) - Support - The unit that has this is unable to attack in any method, their manually activated ability usually supports the allied units. - Reflect - Any unit with this will automatically deal half the damage it takes back to the attacker. - Shock - The unit with this will intimidate enemies and reduce their armor (Maybe health too, would recommend attacking via powers) - Guard - This unit will take all the damage aimed at nearby allies instead of the intended target. - Rally - This unit will cause any ally units near it to deal more damage than normal - Last Stand - This unit when destroyed will spawn infantry to keep fighting (As far as I can tell, the number either means that many lone troops or that many squads)Those are presently all the card prefixes, the Y or PC equivalent abilities are as follows. This will only list anything that does have an ability. The layout is “Name [Energy cost] - Ability”

Thanks. I haven’t had the opportunity to test everything but this is what I have been able to find out via the card library and by playing. You won’t believe how many people die to Blast units and their special visual difference for some.

Hah I’ve had quite the few units die from the Blast ones, as I try to move units out some of them just seem to walk into it :frowning:

If you look carefully, you should be able to see the enemy unit’s colour in a faint circle that slowly fills up and blinks on the floor. Remember it gets both air and ground units.

Yeah I see the circle and how it fills but sometimes single movement of units seem to mess up and sometime those not selected seem to move with the other group causing them to walk into the circle :3

Not sure why that is. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong

Might just be the AI pathing. If anything aim to save the better units if you can save any.
