A Blood Gulch Inspired Map... Please?

Every Halo FPS game so far as had a map that was inspired by Blood Gulch (aside from Halo 3: ODST for obvious reasons). It was like an unspoken tradition that the Halo games had, then broken by Halo 5: Guardians (though the map was recreated multiple times through the power of Forge).

Ultimately I have no power to make company decisions but should anyone from the dev-team come to the forums and on the off-chance see this thread, I humbly request a Blood Gluch inspired map to be added officially, not through the power of Forge mode by the Community, somewhere in the games life. That is all.

Would you guys like to see another Blood Gulch map officially created?

Of course, Blood Gulch is so Iconic it was a Halo Wars 1 map. I was surprised it wasn’t remade in Halo Wars 2 also.

Yes, that would be amazing.

I believe it was also the setting for a Halo Flash game back in the day. Grenade Jump or Warthog Jump or something. It involved a lot of grenades and a Warthog bouncing everywhere, that’s all I can remember xD

I wish Blood Gulch was treated like Counter Strike treates de_dust and de_dust2, where a version of the map exists at launch on every version of the game.

Especially since I really liked H2A’s iteration on the map. The middle bunker added just enough cover that moving up the middle of the map wasn’t as suicidal as the previous versions.

That’d be great. I would also love all the MP maps to be real, handcrafted maps with some personality instead of cluttered with Forge maps.

Blood Gulch was always a lot of fun so I would love to see it return. I would also love to see that one Halo 2 map with the icicles you could shoot down return (sorry I forgot the name of it) and I do have a soft spot for Haven from Halo 4.

I’ve seen this sentiment appearing in a few threads.

Hopefully Forge, custom built into the new Slipspace engine, will be at another level in Infinite. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s co-developed with the tools that 343 will actually use to make their own maps. Hopefully the Forge maps will be pretty much indistinguishable from a developer map.

And plus one for Blood Gulch (and it’s little brother Beaver Creek).

Ah, you mean Lockout/Blackout/Lockdown xD Unless you mean Waterworks.

Bring back Waterworks I will never forget that montage of people shooting the rocks and causing the Wraith to blow up.

Bro, Bloodline from H2A is just so good. I would love to see a port of that map in Infinite.

YES, please. A Blood Gulch-inspired map would bring a LOT of enjoyment to the game out of the gate. Particularly with OGs!

Red vs Blue vibes lmao
