I was planning on getting the classic helmet req pack, and I’m currently grinding (50k ATM) but given the price point (150k), I might just spend it on silver packs. It’s probably pretty affordable for you guys with completed req collections, but I don’t think it’s really worth it for me. What do you guys think of the price?

Pretty fine for 9 helmets. If you are running low on REQ points, I’d highly advise jumping into Mythic Warzone Firefight this weekend. Prospect is one of the easier maps so you’ll be winning a lot more often and getting 3-5000 REQ points a game depending on your boosts.
Go for it! You’ll be glad you got them, and when you look at them, you’ll remember how hard you worked for them.

I guess the helmets aren’t really my style, plus 150k rp=30 silver packs=60 permanent unlocks, which is more worth it for me, since I’m not to far into the collection.
I have enough to get 20 gold REQ packs, I think I’m good!

If I were on the pack grind still I would use the points on packs. That is 30 silver’s worth or 15 golds… That is a lot of req unlocks out of the way.

This is the most economical way to use your REQ points.
After reading this I’m not sure whether to spend 150k points on the pack or on my gold pack grind…

Why would he want to exchange his real money for non real items? Lol! Considering that you can now probably buy the entire Halo 5 game for $10 now, the price seems steep to me too. I’ve never spent money on in game items, and never will. They have literally zero value to me and I can’t help thinking that it’s all just a scam.

I’d just keep buying silver packs if I were you. You’ll get way more useful items that you can actually use, such as vehicles and weapons.
After all nobody else in the world cares what your spartan looks like, and it’ll make no difference to your gameplay. It’s literally just a different character model to look at in the menu screens.
Well people ran the numbers on reddit, since the pack is coming with every helmet in one package, your actually spending less RP per a helmet then the other 100k packs. So in the end, it’s not a to steep of a deal.
150k? I bought my pack for 100k, I’m sure I did. I had around about 340k saved and bought a pack like I usually do when the limited time packs come out. And if I’m honest, I wasn’t overly impressed at all the only good thing was the (shark looking skin) for my AR. I wish I’d just saved them point’s now and carried on with the silver grind. I should really start buying packs but I just never get round too it.

I know what you mean but then you don´t value your time much considering how much of it you need to put in to raise 150K RP.
