A bit of a wish list for Halo: Infinite.

This is just some of the nice stuff I’d like to see in Infinite.

Customization

  • First things first. Battle damage would be a killer addition to customization, and having something like beating the Campaign on Heroic granting you the scars that the Chief had on his armor in Halo 3 would be some great wish fulfillment. Imagine having your Spartan covered in plasma scoring, paint chipping, deep cuts in the armor, and having the visor shattered more than an iPhone screen.
  • Second, Having something I’d like to call the ‘Polygon Mark V’ or the ‘Mark V 2001’ would be amazing. It’s basically ripping the Master Chief model from Halo: CE (2001, not Anniversary) and placing it in the game as an unlockable if you beat the Campaign on Legendary. It’s similar to the Solid Snake outfit from MGSV, if you’ve played that.
  • Thirdly, If 343i is to do the Mark V '01 idea, then you might be wondering what they’d do with Mark VI. Either: Have the player unlock all achievements in the game to get the armor, or make it so when you beat the Campaign on Normal or higher, it is unlocked. 343i could do the latter with the Armor that the Chief wears in Infinite if they go with the former.
  • Fourth, put colors on a slider, including visor colors. Make ‘unique’ visor colors (say, a glitchy ‘Rampant’ visor, or some other odd addition) unlockables, like any other armor piece. This will make the unique visors stand out among the sea of standard one-color or two-color visors.Honestly, I could go on for hours about the stuff I’d want in customization. Adding lore armor like SPI, the ability to remove your emblem from your Spartan, adding the Macworld '99 Version of Mark V, and much more, but I’ll stop here before your brain explodes.

Multiplayer

  • 343i is most likely going to cut sprint from the game, since it seems everyone and their neighbor’s cat is screaming for it to be gone. They could remedy this by upping the speed of the player by a tad, so they can avoid the player from feeling too slow.

  • Additionally, they can avoid the player from floating around like you’re on the moon. This is what stops me from playing H3 often, since in the game your movement speed is so slow, as well as being floaty.

  • ‘Elite Slayer’ could be a way for people who want to play as Elites to play as Elites, without having to worry about the hitbox being too big, and other issues.
    Forge

  • 343i, please, please add AI to the Forge sandbox. The inclusion of them can open up so many new ways to make new gametypes, will increase the longevity of Forge’s lifespan, and would be so fun to have. Far Cry did it, 343i can too.

  • A way to manipulate the ground, such as changing the textures of it, raising it up, or sinking a hole in the ground, would be a great help for Forgers.

  • If they do go ahead and add AI, if there was a possibility that Spartan AI are grouped in there too, then here’s a way to customize them (this applies to Player Customization, too). If I wanted to save a certain set of armor for my player character, all I would need to do is save it to a private list. This carries over into Forge, where it would go something like this. /Forge Menu > Gameplay > AI > Spartan > AI Settings > Armor Preset/. It may be a little taxing on the game engine, but this is just a wishlist. - Flyable Pelicans without the need of welding a Banshee into the cockpit. Make it happen. (this also applies to Phantoms too) - A dedicated Forge World with tons of unique biomes, and structures that can be deleted. Basically Minecraft. - The ability to change the weather, time of day, and skybox, instead of them all being grouped together.Same as customization, I could go on for hours talking about what I’d want.

Extra Stuff
This will encompass anything that doesn’t fit into any of the other categories.

  • Make the Legendary Edition cool again. Throw in a flaming helmet code, a statue of Chief (or his helmet) and some cool lore stuff, as well as a steelbook of the game, and I’m set. - Integrate something of a ‘Mini Waypoint’ into the game. post community updates there, give info on lore, and have something of a Forerunner code decoder which will unlock cool stuff. Basically the old Waypoint app on the 360. (Idea by The Vengeful Vadam on YT, video link here: I Miss the Xbox 360 Halo Waypoint App... - YouTube) - Doing noteworthy things such as getting into the community spotlight, or making a popular thing in the community getting you a special nameplate, emblem piece, weapon skin, or a flaming helmet. - Don’t abandon the game after 3 years. Put out regular patches every month or so, and a new content drop once every 6 months, compared to Halo 5’s schedule (i dont remember that schedule lol). Having 10 major content drops over the course of 5 years (five long years. that how long it took us to get Harvest back-) would keep people coming back for more. And that’s the list! If you’ve read to the end, thanks, and if anyone from 343i is reading, and actually ends up implementing them, thank you again. (two thank yous is better than one, right?)

Hey OP, appreciate the time you put into this but there are already a multitude of active wish list threads available. Rather than everyone creating a separate topic for their own wants and wishes, best to try and keep that number down. Feel free to add your thoughts to any of the existing threads, thanks
