So I know the Warzone boss scoring system sometimes won’t give you credit if you help kill a boss, but I would have thought that Assassinating a boss would mean you get the kill. That’s why I was a little surprised that after assassinating Knight Strategos, I was met with “Teammates eliminated Knight Strategos”, and no points or medal.
Does anyone know exactly how the system determines who gets credit for killing a boss? Because I thought I had a good idea, but after this I’m not so sure…
It does sound strange. Are you sure that you killed him and not someone shot him at the last second while you where assassinating? Maybe you can watch the replay in the theatre?
Yeah I watched it a tonne of times. My assassination is definitely what killed him.

the other day a teammate assassinated a boss Knight and it gave the enemy credit for it

I get boss take downs for no reason, maybe you are killing them for me.

initially during beta sessions… The kill credit was supposed to be given to the individual who got the last shot on the boss. The enemy could literally deplete 99% of their health, but if you got the last shot, the kill was yours… As to what happened since then? I would like an explanation myself

Yeah is pretty messed up, I assassinated a knight and as he was vaishing the enemy shot him with a dmr and got the 150vp, like dude…wow fix your points system.

It’s near impossible to fully assassinate Warden. Someone always kills you or Warden before you get a chance to finish the animation to actually get the kill.
