I just want to say thank you to all you forum goers who take the time to organize and share your thoughts in a respectful, understanding and encouraging way. From poking around the various topics it seems that more often than not, gamers here are encouraging and supportive of one another. And while there are certainly many topics that have opposing sides, it’s nice be able to read thoughtful posts as to why each gamers prefers one way over another without childish put downs etc.
Of course there are exceptions, but don’t worry, they’ll come around after seeing the examples the rest of the community sets.
So to all you who take the time to carefully choose your words and contribute to the supportive community here, you know who you are and I thank you! Keep it up!
As Wayne and Garth once said,
“GAME ON!”
!THANK YOU!

hehe ehe…WHAT?!
Please tell me you’re being sarcastic.
They’re more of an ungrateful needy bunch.
Hate to sound rude…but are you sure aren’t confused with some other forums?
343i, please.
Sticky this thread for everyone to see, this thread is golden.

Not so much sarcastic as just trying to encourage the environment I’d personally like to see. To a lot of people here, its just common sense to have respect. But maybe, just maybe some of the other overly aggressive users might realize helping out the community has a totally different vibe than trashing on other people and they might consider that as an option. Of course i’m not telling anyone what they should or should not do. I’m just encouraging what I’d like see.
But I have seen a lot of very thoughtful, well organized posts. I wasn’t kidding about that.

I’ve seen some
But those few do deserve a thanks. It’s a common misconception that I disagree and decry some people’s threads because I’m some sort of 343 fanboy. The fact is, I’ve actually seen a thread or two that laid out their arguments and complaints in a calm, civil manner and I was perfectly amiable and even agreed in some cases. Those threads are a glass of water in the desert of this forum.
There was even one where the Op, like some, had found that he didn’t like the direction Halo was going and was moving on; however, he stated this in a completely civil manner, perfectly aware that the problem was that it just wasn’t to his taste, not that it was a horrible abomnination as some would like to think. I simply wished him well and asked him if he at least planned to drop by for Spartan Ops once in a while.
So yeah, to the few who know how to act mature, thanks. Water in the desert.
There are definitely those on these forums that can engage in a very nice discussion of many different matters for both sides of issues. For example, (im not using names) but I have discussed why I felt 1-50 system was a must for Halo 4. While neither of us convinced each other, we still had a very good talk with many valid points. There will ALWAYS be those who blindly hate and blindly love Halo, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us can discuss Halo without flaming each other.
