Instead of a stronger banhammer, what about a reward for completing so many games in a row? Like “finish 5 games in a row and recieve 1000 req points” it doesn’t address drops due to server problems. BUT it will incentivise staying in a losing game and helping your teammates to the end. I think this would prevent a great deal of rage-quits.
I also think positive re enforcement would keep people playing, because when somebody gets banned for quitting they’ll just go play something else till their ban resets. Getting rewarded instead would keep these people in the game and keep the active player count higher. Which is better for everybody.
That won’t stop quitting. People quit because they aren’t having fun, and it’s not going to be fun for people who are getting absolutely destroyed multiple games in a row because matchmaking is so inconsistent in this game. The type of people who are repeat quitters are casual players who just want to have fun, and the lack of social playlists take that away from them. The best solution is to add more permanent social playlists that have join in progress where quitting isn’t penalized or if it is penalized less so. All banning does is push casual players away from the game to play something else where they can actually be having fun without having to worry about bans.
I agree on that one. During the the start of new season, match making is even worse. You have unskilled players being matched with skilled players and matches have been absolutely lop sided. I have played matches where my team won 50-20 and 50-25 games. I have been on loosing teams with almost equal scores.
the quitters just need to only be allowed to play warzone or BTB, social X type, and not allowing back into anything that involves a rank.

I consider myself a casual gamer, and your quitting ruins the game for all of us. Please go play a different game or just stop playing. I don’t quit games, but I’ve stopped playing for now because I don’t enjoy the game. I sure as hell don’t want to make the game worse for others by being selfish and quitting.

You quit a Social Snipers game on 3/13. Don’t lie and say you don’t quit games if you do.
Why not both? A stackable reward say 100 xp and rp for completing games and a stronger ban hammer say the ban plus forced loss and a 25 death penalty.

Did you really just go through his play history to find a single DNF that proves nothing and may actually be a case of him being dropped from the game?
I literally posted this exact post like two weeks ago.
Quitting isn’t really as big an issue as it’s made out to be.

You must be playing a different game then most of us or your the quitter. I would say 50-70% of games I play in someone quits on one of the teams.
